Spending freeze? Yeah right!
We should have become immune to the blatant distortions of this Administration by now, but thanks to the unwavering support of the media, many are still falling for the propaganda. Many in our nation, flying in the face of common sense, are still following Obama right off the cliff. They still wallow in their delusions of a utopian workers paradise where all their needs are cared for by the government and paid for by those evil rich people. This Administration, in its desperate attempt to regain it dominance and force its wrong-headed agenda, is fostering these delusions with promises of new green jobs, free healthcare, and redistribution of wealth – punish the banks, oil companies, and others and reward the lazy. This is the first President in our history that is openly opposed to the American way of life. The previous residents of the White House, regardless of party, have believed in freedom for everyone and attempted to spread the American way of life to the world. This President is determined to change our way of life, declare our system a failure and usher in the failed system of socialism. In his mind, America is bad.
So how did we get here? How did a nation of hard working, moral, innovative Americans standing on their own two feet become a nation dominated by lazy, petty, entitlement minded whiners? Where did we lose our way? Most importantly, how to we get back? Is it too late to change direction? Have we fallen too far to recover, have we gone so far to the left that we are now doomed to continue down this road? I think we can turn this around, but it won’t be an easy task. Barack Obama and the liberals in Congress are just a symptom of the problem; they are simply a product of this self indulgent mentality. These socialists are only in power because weak minded, weak willed people voted for the handouts they promised. The only real hope for our nation is slight chance that the producers still out number the leaches. The slight chance that there are still enough Americans, willing to fight back and fight hard enough to reclaim what we built. The slight chance that common sense, as uncommon as it has become will once again prevail over the nonsensical idealism permeating our society. It’s a long shot, but what’s the alternative?

On Saturday in Nashville TN, 58 Delegates, from 34 TN Tea Party groups, representing nearly 18,000 members came together and formed a coalition. That’s right, 34 of those ragtag right wing fringe groups have organized as one. Despite what the opposition will claim, this was not organized by the GOP, Dick Army, George Bush, or any other political organization. This meeting was not funded by Big Oil, Big Banks, or any other corporate entity despite what the opposition will claim. I was fortunate to be involved in this meeting and guess what, despite the claims of the Tea Party detractors, no one asked me for money – not once! So when you hear these types of claims by those who seek to harm the movement, realize that they are either lying, brainwashed, or just plain delusional. Now, before you think this coalition is just a big group trying to hijack the efforts of smaller groups, let me assure you that each group retains complete independence. The Coalition will function much as our government was originally intended to with the individual groups (think states) remaining autonomous and the Coalition (think Federal Government) simply providing the network, support, and resources for things the small groups can’t accomplish on their own. This Coalition is important for many reasons not the least of which is providing the movement a larger voice. Still not convinced this was an important event? Let me give you one more reason I believe it is not only important but ‘historic.’ Yes, this is the first time a State has managed to organize its Tea Party groups together as one, but it also gathered interest from other States. Observers from other States and other groups were present at the meeting to learn from what we had accomplished in TN so they could take it back home and apply it there. Draw you own opinion, but I’m predicting you will see this coalition model repeated across the country. Dismiss this movement at your own peril. Thanks for reading!

So what’s the problem?
Do you find it strange that Obama is now so very concerned about jobs? If you remember, he campaigned that George Bush was the real problem and he the Great Messiah would restore the economy and bring back jobs. Remember he told us that his stimulus package would save millions of jobs and ‘jolt’ the economy back into shape? Remember his dire warnings of a great depression that only he could prevent. We were told that we had to get him and his cronies into office NOW or the world would certainly come to an end!
Well here we are 1 year later and he’s is back on the road campaigning on jobs, but exactly who is he campaigning against this time? That evil George Bush is gone, (but Barack continues to blame everything on him anyway) so what’s the problem? Pelosi claimed “the adults are now in charge,” so what’s the problem? Obama got his $787 Billion stimulus, so what’s the problem? The problem is real jobs are only created by businesses and Obama is anti-business.
Obama, instead of cutting corporate taxes to help businesses grow, he has spent his time on trying to pass Obamacare, Cap & Trade, Card Check and other socialist anti-business policies. When he held his ‘jobs summit,’ instead of listening to businesses, he barred business organizations and invited the Unions! Instead of getting out of the way and allowing the free market to work, he has taken over some businesses, threatened others, and crushed many more with new regulations. Instead of cutting government spending, he has run up unprecedented deficits that could cripple our economy for decades to come. So what are the results; the economy is still tanking, jobs continue to be lost, and the people have had enough!
This Administration has been a train wreck since day one and they have no one, yes no one but themselves to blame! Expect to hear these failed liberals to now pretend to be concerned about jobs. Expect these clowns to now pretend to be concerned about spending, and yes expect them to continue to blame Bush for everything! Don’t be fooled my friends, keep the heat on and send these Dems. to the unemployment line.

A Former Democrat comes into the Light
I see voters in the Democratic Party starting to open their eyes to the graft, and corruption that has taken over their party in the last year. Look at the manipulation of our voting rights in so many ways with voter fraud across America. There is a movement to give amnesty to the 15 to 25 million Illegal undocumented Democrats, along with automatically registering all people that are on public assistance in America to vote. This will give the Democrats another 75 to 100 million new voters. All the above will vote for the ones that give them a free ride through life, at Taxpayers expense. The goal is to continue a one party dominance.
The Democrats goal of course is crumbling at their feet. The people are recognizing the Mafia style Chicago politics that Obama brought with him to the White House are wrong. The closed door negotiating between only those in the Democrat party (Republican Party was totally shut out) in the middle of the night is against our Constitution, and Bill of Rights. But the Democrats don’t care as long as they pass some tax burdened bill through just to satisfy Obama. They would have passed it already, but they still don’t have the votes even in their own party.
When Conservative Republicans won races in New Jersey, and Virginia, the liberals had excuses for that, but if Republican Scott Brown wins the Massachusetts Senate seat once held by Edward (Ted) Kennedy (and he did, Ed), I want to see how they squirm to explain this one having no effect on Obama. Massachusetts is a far left state with the likes of Barney Frank and John Kerry, and a strong Democrat Majority. This is a prelude to what is coming in November with the uprising of all Americans that know what we have controlling our country is wrong. The Tea Party movement has established the backbone for people to voice an opposing view to Obama, and his cronies.
Two weeks ago, I changed my party affiliation to the Republican Party! Their platform is much closer to my way of thinking. It feels strange to say I am a Republican, because I have been a registered Democrat since 1962. The Democrat Party back then doesn’t resemble anywhere near the corrupt manipulating Progressive Democratic Communist party of today! Terry

Sweet Irony
As the sun settles into the western horizon, I think back on Barack’s first few months and ponder the events that have gotten us to this point in our nation’s history. When Mr. Chappaquiddick denied us of his company, I was as sure as I could be that another liberal dynasty would come from his blessed departure, after some back room deals and payouts of course, but such is not the case. Instead we get sweet irony. Who would have thought that the very thing that could derail the liberal train or at least slow it up on its way to socialized healthcare with a few stops at the global warming and the bailout stations along the way, would be the passing of its staunchest supporter, nay it's very author. Sweet irony indeed. This election has shown once again the shortness of the coattails of one Barack Obama. Mrs. Coakley suffered his help, much like his help in the Olympic committee's decision making process, or his help with the candidates in Virginia or New Jersey. I pray that he stumps for all of the Dems in the upcoming election cycle. If I were a candidate I would run from this most historic man and his help, as I am sure that many Dems will. Again, sweet irony. The only real question now is how many congressional buffoons will fall on their swords to ram, err I mean pass, this thinly veiled attempt at the largest power grab and theft in our nations history called healthcare reform. I am sure that Madame Pelosi will try to get the cat back into the bag but I am not so sure about how many Dems will follow her lead, much like lemmings over the cliff, many will go but come November many will not return. I imagine the back rooms in congress are right now in full turmoil as the Dems gird their loins for a full retreat from the most historic Barack. I am also sure that the anointed one is shaking his head and wondering how the media could have let him down so, it is obviously the fault of the liberal media, after all they got him elected and so far it would require the jaws of life to pull their lips off his backside, they continue to fall all over themselves, and creatively report on all matters Barack. For instance the green shoots of economic recovery. I think my green shoots were frost bitten during the last bout with global warming. It will be interesting to watch the media spin and squirm over this election, or maybe even ask a few tough questions, just to prove their relevance of course, and I’m sure many will begin to doubt the historic Barack. Sweet irony indeed.
Take a moment to think of the magnitude of this loss. A republican in the seat once wholly owned by the liberal lion himself, and a huge Dem loss in the very blue state of Mass. In political terms this election has shaken the very pillars of heaven. Could Barack be a lame duck after so few months in office, it certainly looks so. What does this mean? Could it be that the entire state of Mass. is racist? I doubt it, after all they voted for Barack to the tune of 67%. How will the media spin this? It warms my heart to see my fellow Americans stand and deliver for our country. Maybe, just maybe we will find our Christian roots, our rugged individualism, our can do spirit that settled a wilderness and hacked a nation from it, and maybe those on the left will finally realize that this nation will not go quietly into cradle to grave care like so many other nations have done to their detriment. We are not children to be taken care of or to be scolded. We are Americans; we used to be a nation of men and God willing we can be again. I for one thank you Mass. and I also thank the patriots in the tea parties and constitution parties. I look forward with hope, the hope that America is finding its soul. All this, hope & real change, from the election of just one Republican Senator from Mass. Sweet irony indeed.

Is there a lesson here?
Like many of you, I stayed up way too late last night watching the election returns in Mass, and the result is tired eyes and a big smile on my face. The victory of Scott Brown is a huge shot across the bow of the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Axis of Evil. Will they listen, not a chance, but many House and Senate Dems may be a lot more reluctant to support this socialist garbage for fear of losing their job in November.
So what if we take all the enthusiasm we feel this morning and turn it towards our own home state? Imagine the impact we can have on the Washington Power structure! If Kennedy’s Senate seat wasn’t safe, is any position or politician truly untouchable? Imagine the impact we can have on the House with all 435 seats up for grabs? Can you feel that? That’s the wind at our backs, that’s the coming winds of change washing over our nation. Stand tall today; it’s a great day for conservatives everywhere. Through determination and lots of hard work, we will soon celebrate a similar sweeping victory through every state in the nation.

Republicans, Libertarians, & Tea Parties oh my!
Today is the day; the special election held to fill the Mass. Senate seat vacated by the late Teddy Kennedy. The polls are open and the people will make their choice between the DNC’s handpicked liberal and Tea Party backed Republican Scott Brown. During normal times an election of this nature would be of little significance and gather little attention, but these are not normal times. This special election may be a very special election indeed as it could affect the balance of power in the Senate and potentially block Obamacare. This one little election could very well set the tempo for a conservative landslide in November. Think about it this way, if Republicans can grab a Senate seat in this liberal haven, no Democrat is safe.
Now much has been said lately about whether the Tea Parties really do more harm than good in these elections or if they really have any influence at all. Some claim they are no more than a circus side show of uneducated racists. Some claim they are just uninformed lackeys being used as pawns by some corporate interest. Some claim that these groups are being run by opportunists looking to cash in on our discontent and get rich in the process. Some simply say the Tea Parties are just an infantile effort and simply unnecessary at best. So, what do you think?
The fact is the Tea Parties have played a huge role in this election as they did in NJ, VA & NY23. They have been running targeted outreach and communications efforts in Mass. and elsewhere to aid the election of Scott Brown. The Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Tea Party Express, you remember – the guys who do those coast to coast bus trips, has spent $285,000 to help win this election for conservatives. The Tea Parties, along with Republicans, Libertarians, and even Independents, are standing together and making a statement against the policies of this Administration and forcing the Dems out of office. We as conservatives, all conservatives, must continue to stand together and focus all our energies of returning conservatives to power. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Regardless of what issues cause you to identify yourself as a conservative, join the effort now– stand together and make a difference. The lefties and the media will continue to attack movement because they fear it; they fear the idea of conservatives working together as a united front. They will continue to attack us relentlessly because our efforts are paying off. Remember, the closer you get to the target, the more flack you take.
Some believe in “all paths to God”, I believe in all paths to conservatism.

Political Shock & Awe
If Massachusetts is any example of what is coming their way, Shock and Awe is going to be an understatement. The sad thing is, liberals don't see, or understand that for a conservative candidate to be doing as well as he is in a left wing, choking blue state, is devastating to their cause and way of thinking. They just don't get it. Conservatives from both sides are making a statement in Massachusetts. Regardless of their political affiliation, they are saying "No" to the messiah, "No" to Soetoro care, and "No" to the left wing agenda in our nation's capitol. The swell is rising, and the tsunami is gaining strength and speed. Our government right now is a government that the forefathers would have neither tolerated nor condoned. No one party should ever dominate the entire government. Our government works better when it is evened out across the board. Our government works best when compromise is the key and nothing can be passed without it. I don't want the conservatives in complete control, nor do I want the liberals either. A compromise of the two is what is needed and demanded. Had we had that type of representative government, we would not be in the position we are right now. I remember an old Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk was beamed up from the surface, but when he arrived at the Enterprise, he had been split into two, one evil Kirk, and one good. Individually, neither could do the job of commanding the Enterprise. Both personalities were required to lead and command. One complimented the other; one could not survive without the other. Our form of government demands both personalities in order to function as a democracy. The pendulum swung too far to the left during this last election cycle. It is going to have to swing back hard to correct the damage that was done, but I am hoping that at some point the energy swinging the pendulum subsides so that future swings are less impacting, and our government is again "By the People, For the People, and Of the People" once more. Imagine if you will an honest government, which actually represents the people who elected them, instead of thumbing their nose at them. Brian Excellent rant. Just a fringe group, I don’t think so!
The lefties in the media have been trying for a year now to convince everyone that the Tea Parties and anyone else opposing the ‘Great Messiah’ was just a fridge radical, racist, or Bible thumping redneck. Well, multiple polls lately show a much different picture. The fact is the American people trust the Tea Parties more than either Republicans or Democrats. Strange huh? Yes, they will continue to attack us, but it’s becoming pretty obvious that only the most brain damaged liberal loons are still buying this White House sponsored propaganda. The “down stream media” is dying while Fox News and conservative bloggers are riding a groundswell of popularity. A poll released yesterday showed less than half of Americans would vote for Obama again. Harry Reid is way behind in the polls in his home state of Nevada and almost certain to lose his seat this fall. Republicans won 2 of the three major state elections so far and the Dems may lose Kennedy’s seat to a so-called “TeaBagger.” You will never hear this on the network news, but we ‘radicals’ have lots to be happy about.
So what now? Take back our Party! Many on the left are shouting from the roof tops that the Tea Parties are being controlled or taken over by the Republican Party, really? From everything I’ve seen many in the Republican Party are embracing the Tea Party movement because it stands for the principles Republicans were supposed to support. Conservatives retaking the Republican Party is a natural progression for the movement. We should not become a third party; we should assert our influence within the Republican Party. Toss out the RINOs and put true conservatives in their place; this is our best shot at taking back the country. If you’re not attending your county meetings, I suggest you start. Let’s take this amazing momentum and make some real Change!

Follow the money?
Money is evil, according to those who have never made any that is. The cries of “follow the money,” and the “Tea Parties are just after your money” crap is nothing more than the simpleton cries of desperate socialists. Tea Party organizers provide a service to their members and to their country, so is it wrong if someone helps them defer their costs? Should these folks be expected to cover all the costs out of their own pockets? For the record, no one from the movement has ever asked me to donate money, but would it really be wrong if they had? Money makes the world go ‘round folks and everything, and I mean everything relies on money if it is to grow and prosper. Your church needs money to pay the rent, electricity, and purchase supplies if it is to keep its doors open and support its parishioners. Your favorite charity works diligently to help others (including my favorite animal shelter,) but they need money to do so. The farmers market, so loved and adored by the liberals, survives only if it makes money. Mom and pop operations may seem like a liberal friendly concept, but without profits – they go away! The cries for help in Haiti, the desperate need for humanitarian help, can only be satisfied by a huge infusion of cash! Every operation, and that includes the Tea Parties, need money to continue to function effectively – volunteers can only do so much (I know I’m one of them!) Wake up people! When did making money become wrong? When did being successful become evil? Since when is Capitalism bad??? Those that claim the Tea Parties are just some corporate entity designed to scam money from you, the unassuming patriot, are nothing more than socialists who oppose the free market system itself. Many of these people relish when their favorite movie makes a billion dollars for Hollywood freaks, but cry foul when a real company actually makes money! Think about that, think about the logic behind that view of the world. Trying to have an intelligent conversation with some of these folks is like trying to explain physics to your dog. You wouldn’t take investment tips or tax advice from these people, so why would you take political advice from them? Would you pick some homeless guy as your financial advisor? Remember my friends, liberalism is a disease; join a Tea Party today and join the fight for a cure!

The Tea Party Groups don't have to ask for money as people are willing to give to a worthy cause. Unlike liberal, left wing organizations that have to spend millions and print forms and letters to mail out in order to beg for money, some causes speak for themselves and don't have to. A correction, retraction, apology; call it what you will but I need to correct something I said previously. It is true that I was banned from one of the Tea Party groups, but not for the reason I originally thought. I rushed to judgment when I didn’t yet have all the facts. All I knew at the time was that I had received some traffic from this group’s website and then found that I had been banned. I assumed that something I posted had offended them, I was wrong. What actually happened was that someone I once associated with had viciously attacked and threatened them. When they viewed this individual’s site, they saw me listed as a contributor (although I was not) and they assumed I held the same feelings. I was unaware of what this person was doing at the time and although I’m still disappointed about being banned, I understand their actions completely. They had been attacked and were simply doing what they felt was necessary to protect and defend themselves and their members. This person who attacked them is a neighbor of mine who I had attempted to recruit into the Tea Parties and one who seemed very interested at the time. Even when this group informed me what this individual had said, I was hesitant to believe it as it seemed so completely out of character for him, but unfortunately it was true. This individual has gone on to make it his mission in life to attack and attempt to discredit the Tea Party movement. As I stated in an earlier posting; I do not support or condone his actions in any way. His actions are not only detrimental to the movement, but to conservatism as a whole. I am a Tea Party supporter from day one; I consider attacks against the Tea Party movement as an attack on me. You may recall that even when I felt slighted by this group, I said I would continue to support their efforts; I said it then and I stand by that today. If at any time I have done anything hurtful to the movement or any of the Tea Party Groups, then I apologize, it was certainly never my intent. The Tea Parties are the most important political movement of our lifetime; they have given us a voice. This is a critical time in our history, the mission is too important to allow infighting to blur our message.

Just as they planned…
Our spineless Liar-and-Chief, stunned by the challenges to his claim of creating 665,000 jobs, apparently decided to double down on the lie and just call it 2 million jobs. The Administration is claiming that the Stimulus package “has done exactly as we anticipated it would do.” Really, I seem to remember these numbskulls promising that the stimulus bill would prevent unemployment from exceeding 8%! Strange, unemployment is officially at 10% with the real number sitting somewhere between 17% and 20%. Again, this is what they anticipated the bill would do? The economy continues to shed jobs at an alarming rate, the dollar is dropping, consumer prices are rising and millions have been reduced to taking food stamps? This is what they were planning? This is what they wanted to happen? Is anyone still buying anything these people say? Stimulus money being spent in zip codes that don’t exist, and jobs created in Congressional districts that don’t exist - just how gullible do they think we are? If the stimulus is working so well, why are they considering a new jobs bill?
The US Chamber of Commerce is warning that the US is heading for a double-dip recession if the Administration continues with its socialist policies. The misguided policies of isolationism, union expansion, financial regulation, and massive tax increases via Obamacare and Cap & Trade will be devastating to an already weak economy. The expansion of unions will cripple US companies and force many out of business. Poor trade policy will further increase consumer prices and reduce your standard of living. Obamacare will increase the deficit, increase your medical costs, reduce access, and reduce the level of care. Cap & Trade will push energy costs through the roof, crush the American economy, and cost millions of jobs. Further regulation of the financial industry will increase the interest rates you pay, increase fees, reduce retirement savings accounts, reduce cash flow, reduce access to credit, reduce the sales of big ticket items, and reduce your standard of living as a whole. Have you had enough of this Hope & Change yet? Do you understand that this Administration is trying to make you a slave to the nanny state? Everything the Regime does is designed to make you more dependent on the government; the more you depend on them, the less freedom you have. The more you need them, the less independent you are. The more power they have, the less power you have. The bigger the Government gets, the more insignificant you are. If your Government has the power to fine or even jail you for failing to purchase Obamacare coverage; you are their slave. Our Founding Fathers revolted against old King George over far less than this. If you are stupid enough to deny the devious intentions of this President then just crawl back in your hole and quietly submit to your master. For the rest of you, brush off the criticism and keep fighting back!

Allow me to disagree…
Some say the Tea Party protests against the government are all useless hoopla and accomplish nothing, let me take a moment to completely disagree. Yesterday I met some people who had heard Sarah Palin was coming to Nashville for a big convention and they were interested in seeing her, but really didn’t know what the deal was. This was their first real exposure to the Tea Party Movement. They had obviously heard something about the rallies, probably as a passing remark on the news, but had never been involved. We discussed some of the issues we face with this government and I gave them a few websites (including this one) where they could go to get informed and involved. So what’s my point? The point is after nearly a year; the Tea Parties are still involving new people everyday and are more relevant than ever. The movement is not fading; it is growing thriving and expanding. So be very wary of those who claim to be conservatives yet dismiss or even attack the Tea Party groups. What possible motivation could they have? What issue do we support that they do not? What do they hope to accomplish by an assault on other conservatives?
Those pretending to be conservatives while attacking the Tea Party movement are potentially the greatest threat we face. They walk among us, subverting the very fabric of conservatism and attacking those involved in order to weaken the movement. They lay wait like a terrorist sleeper cell waiting for their orders to strike. Their mission is simple, self defeat. They claim no discernable difference between the two parties and preach endlessly that no effort by us will ever change anything. They refuse to believe anything short of a revolution, or at least a third party, can change the status quo and believe anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. They intentionally focus on issues currently out of our reach and dismiss the opportunities that we do have as a waste of time. They despise those that have the courage to stand up for what’s right because they themselves are too afraid. They verbally attack us as ‘Teabaggers,’ idiots, zealots, bigots, etc while accusing us of hate speech! They believe that they alone possess a true understanding of the issues and all others are blind to the truth and nothing more than pawns to the real power brokers. These individuals are a poison in our country and serve only to subvert our efforts to energize the conservative base and retake our country. The more progress we make the more the attacks will increase. Do not allow the actions of these individuals to frustrate your efforts; we are on the right track. 2010 will be a turning point in this country – let no one stand in the way.

Double standard, bet your ‘No Negro Dialect’ it is!
By now I’m sure you’ve heard about Senate Leader Harry Reid’s racist remarks concerning then Candidate Obama, so should he step down? Well, consider that Senator Trent lot was forced out over a similarly ‘less than politically correct’ statement. So what’s the difference? Ask yourself, if a Republican made this statement do you think Al Sharpton would be running to his rescue? Barack Obama himself was quite outspoken about the Trent Lott statement, but he has ‘forgiven’ Harry Reid? Do you think the Main Stream Media would be whitewashing the story if this was Mitch McConnell or John McCain?
There exists a big double standard in this country when it comes to the issue of racism, and it is now on display for everyone with open eyes to see. There is this line of propaganda that has been fed to the masses for years that Democrats fight for minorities and therefore are incapable of racism. Please people, get a life. Remember it was Democrats that tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act. How is saying that Barack has “no Negro dialect unless he wants one” not racist in nature? If I made this statement do you think I would be called a racist – you better believe it! If I made this statement at work I would be fired as a result and I’m nobody. This guy is the head of the SENATE! Harry Reid should be run out of town in the back of the next bus heading west. Please contact your Senator and tell them so!

We have heard so much complaining about the ‘Bush wars’ for the last 5 years about how terrible he was in starting these wars, but as you should know, if the radical Islamic terrorists had not attacked the twin towers, and proudly taken credit for the September 11, 2001 destruction, we would not be fighting in the mid-east today. Let’s take a look back the last 100 years, and see who was in power in the USA when we fought all the wars till 2000. World War I- Woodrow Wilson was president during this war. He was a Democrat.
World War II- Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president. He was a Democrat
Korean War- Harry S. Truman was president. He was a Democrat
Vietnam War- Lyndon Baines Johnson was president. He was a Democrat
Baltic War- William Jefferson Blythe III, (or as we know him as today- Bill Clinton). A Democrat.
So now we see all these wars erupted when we had a democrat in office. I have to say, some of these wars warranted our support. But when FDR was running for re-election in 1940, 85% of the citizens did not want to return to a war. Roosevelt campaigned that he would never get involved in WW II. But as he was campaigning, he was building our country for war. He was not very popular as he ran in 1940, because we were still in a depression, but he knew this was the only way to win. With all the facts that have come to light about Pearl Harbor, (In my judgment) FDR knew the Japanese were going to attack, but did not know exactly when. Strangely all our Aircraft carriers (The most important part of our military) just happened to be out to sea during the attack. Roosevelt knew the USA would change their opinion, and support the war. Johnson wanted to start an armed conflict in Vietnam, so he tried the same tactic by instigating the gulf of Tonkin exchange! Before Johnson, Kennedy just had “advisers” in Vietnam! George H. W. Bush was in power during Desert Storm. It was quick, and we were out George W. Bush was in power when 9/11 happened. It’s not a good war, but it must be fought. I’m not sure about the Iraq conflict, but supported the surge, and it worked, even though the democrats were against it. Rep Harry Reid proclaimed this war was lost. Obama wants to continue the Afghanistan war, and also include the fight in Pakistan. Unlike GW Bush, the congress passed all the funding that Obama wanted for his wars with little dissention. Obama took 4 months to decide to send more troops, but on Dec. 1st made one of his daily addresses to the nation saying he would send 30,000 more troops, then in the next sentence said he will start pulling them out again in 18 months regardless if we win or not. Al-Qaeda would laugh at his stupidity. General McCrystal wanted 60,000 troops, but said that the bare minimum was 40,000. Like it or not, this Al-Qaeda, Islamic radical movement will not go away. These people are determined to destroy America, even if it takes a hundred years. I’m not happy with it, but we are fighting a different kind of war, a war without borders. Why healthcare really cost so much.
There have been so many lies coming out of Washington lately as to why healthcare is so expensive, but let’s take a hard look at the real reason. An article in the Boston Herald, unintentionally for sure, exposes the real problem with the system. The story is about a 35 year old woman who has filed suit against three doctors claiming that they ‘sterilized’ her in 2006 without her consent. This young lady, while seeking a large cash settlement for this great injustice, was complaining that she had received mean ‘Text messages’ and postings on her Facebook page simply because she was a poor single mom. Now before you shed a tear for her you should know that this poor single mom, (who is of course on ‘public assistance’) already has 9 kids! Did you get that; this poor thing already has 9 kids and is suing because she can’t have more? Has she not figured out what’s causing this? Ask yourself this, how does she know she’s been sterilized unless she’s been trying to have more? Now lest you think ill of this poor single mom, she assures us that 8 of those 9 kids were conceived while in committed relationships?!?! Really, so where are these fathers? Why aren’t all these dads paying the bills? Why are we paying, we weren’t even there!
Don’t get me wrong, if you want to give birth to your own scout troop, be my guest, but why should the rest of us have to pick up the tab? She was already living on the backs of the taxpayer (welfare, housing, food stamps, cell phone, internet, etc); now add in the cost of 9 deliveries, aftercare, prescriptions, etc. and she wants more! Can you fathom the extraordinary amount of ‘free’ healthcare this one woman has received for herself and her herd; healthcare costs that are passed on to the rest of us? Take those costs and multiply it by the millions of women (and irresponsible men) who are doing basically the same thing and you’ll see the real problem. Now, as if she hadn’t bled the system enough, consider that she is seeking a large settlement from the doctors to whom she’s never paid a penny.
If the system is truly broken, then it’s because the system is being abused. The liberals have proposed reducing Medicare benefits for those who have actually paid for it and taxing all of us to put a band aide on the system and cover-up the real issue. The government can mandate whatever they want, but the true cost of healthcare will continue to rise until they admit and address the real cause. I think that instead trying to have more kids, this woman and others like her, should find something new to occupy their time - like a job!

Dems opening the Door
It’s true; three more Democrats have announced that they will not run for re-election. These three Dems join a growing list of liberals who are running to the exits to avoid an embarrassing defeat later this year. Incumbents traditionally have a strong advantage in an election if their party has a popular President in the White House; they do not. With Obama’s popularity dropping faster than any President in modern history, Dems are looking at a rough road in November. This exodus should really come as no surprise to us considering the rise of the Tea Parties, coast to coast protests, and the fiery Town Halls these Democrats faced over the summer. The Obama Administration has been a complete disaster; it has failed miserably in every area and now the Party stands to pay the price. The Dems are seeing an increasing interest in the Republican primaries, a huge increase in conservative candidates, and their own popularity in the gutter. So what does it all mean? It means that the Dems are opening the door for us to sweep the 2010 elections. Each of these announcements boosts our chances; the more liberal incumbents that drop out of the election, the greater our opportunity to take those seats. The Democratic Party is showing weakness; they are showing a lack of confidence going into the midterm election and many in the Party simply lack the backbone for the coming fight. Many Democrats now realize they have squandered their opportunity to retain power by supporting unpopular programs and openly ignoring the will of the people. Their blind support of this failed Administration and its Socialist agenda has cost them their credibility. Don’t be surprised as many more will certainly bow out in the coming months; this is only the beginning. We control our own destiny; we can take this country back and put it back on the right path. Make no mistake, this will be a hard fight, but it’s a fight we can win. All conservatives must stand up, get involved and unite against this common enemy. We will not all agree on every issue, but we can all agree these liberals have to go.

As if the blatant bias of the Main Stream Media wasn’t bad enough, it seems your taxpayer money is again being used to attack and demean conservatives – big surprise! Now I’m sure you’re already familiar with other government supported propaganda such as Obama’s ‘Organizing for America’, and of course Tax Payer funded ACORN, but have you noticed the activities of NPR lately? Yes, National Public Radio (all Obama Radio,) which receives federal funding and is supposed to be unbiased, has become nothing more than a liberal mouthpiece. Their website sells such fine items as Global Warming survival books, green gifts, and ‘Nelson Mandela’s Favorite African Folktales.’ In an apparent attempt to capture more government support this socialist propaganda machine has now posted an animation called ‘Learn to Speak Tea Bag’ (view it Here! ) an outrageous attack on those associated with the Tea Party. This animation warns you ‘not to be confused by words others use’ and suggests that when you don’t understand the current realities just use words like Nazi and Socialist. This disgusting, ignorant display of liberal hate speech was created by a guy named Mark Fiore ‘from an undisclosed location in San Francisco, gee big surprise there! This whiney liberal posted a request last night for some ‘comment love’ for his website because ‘the Teabaggers are mad at me.’ I would instead suggest going after NPR for posting such openly biased trash. Will we stop the socialists in power from funding these socialists; probably not, but at least call them out for what they are. This is our time.
I woke up this morning, as I went to bed late last night, with a smile on my face. You know, the kind of smile that one wears when they know something good is going to happen, and that they are going to be a catalyst in what is about to transpire. 2010 is here and although the liberals in Washington still hold all of the United States Government hostage, my heart is warmed with the thought that we are going to take the House back, and make the Senate more workable come this election cycle. I look forward to having a government "Of the People, By the People and for the People" once again. I look forward to having a house that has a 2/3rds majority so that it can override any veto by the Muslim Socialist that is in the White House. I look forward to a House that cleans house, and a Senate that will ask questions, and yes filibuster all that is needed to be slowed down and questioned. I look forward to a Senate that will look into all the czars that were appointed and question their validity and constitutionality. I look for a House and Senate that will no longer trample the Constitution of the United States. I look forward to Pelosi and Reid being held accountable for their actions, and removed from office in total disgrace. But most of all, I look forward to the House taking up impeachment hearings against this abomination that resides in the White House right now. Most importantly, I want to know if Mr. Soetoro was in fact ever eligible to hold the office of President of the United States. And, if it is found that he was not, can the people roll back retroactively all that this phony has done and signed into law, and remove his appointment to the Supreme Court as well? I am not a constitutional scholar by any means, but I do know that a criminal case built on the fruits of the poisonous tree, i.e. illegally obtained evidence, will collapse and the case will be dismissed as the evidence cannot be introduced. Bringing this knowledge and logic over to the Office of the President, if Mr. Soetoro is found to not have been eligible to be President, then all that he has proclaimed, signed into law and appointed would now be the fruits of the poisonous tree and cannot stand. Like I said, I went to bed late last night with a smile on my face and woke up this morning with that same smile. 2010 is here everyone.
