University = Reeducation Camp

I personally never thought we would see this in the United States of America; I guess I was wrong. The University of Minnesota has proposed a new program that would reprogram teacher candidates who hold ‘wrong views.’ You can bet your bottom dollar this isn’t to weed out the socialists, this is to weed out the conservatives. This program would also require teacher candidates to be tested on ‘white privilege.’ So let’s get this straight, unless the potential teacher believes that minorities have been intentionally been held back by the ‘white power structure’ and that all whites are ‘inherently racist’ they must submit to ‘reeducation’ or their application is rejected!

That’s’ not all folks, the university plans to use similar screening methods for potential students. Yes, some wacko left-wing college judge would sit in their Ivory tower and decide whether a student is admitted to the University based on their “cultural competence.” Gee, I thought it was supposed to be based on grades? No, no my friend, not here in Obama-land! Welcome to the great social experiment sold to you as ‘Hope & Change.’ Is it just me or is this more like a bad 50’s horror movie than the year 2009 in America?  A straight ‘A’ student who holds conservative values would be rejected by the University of Minnesota in favor of a poor student with a racist chip on their shoulder.

The Universities in this country have long been a haven for socialists. The College campus has morphed into a brainwashing camp where anti-American rhetoric is openly promoted and admitted terrorists are hailed as ‘enlightened.’ Universities allow liberal professors, who are nothing more than social rejects unable to make it in the real world, to program young Americans to their way of thinking. Ask yourself this, what are they teaching your kids?

Please understand, you are supporting these actions with your taxes. These state schools, that receive millions in taxpayer funds, are working to discredit the values and principles our nation was founded upon. The Minnesota State Legislature should immediately block all state funding for the University, but will they, of course not! Future generations of Americans are being programmed into little socialist robots, and you’re paying for it! Wake up people, the threat is real. It has started with the Universities, where will it spread to next? The actions of these ‘people’ are a complete slap in the face to every American soldier who gave their life to stop the advance of Communism. Brave Americans fought and died on foreign soil to protect our freedom, will we now allow some tweed wearing little commies to steal it from us?

Ready, Set, SHOP!

Happy Friday, Black Friday that is, the biggest shopping day of the year. With a refrigerator full of leftovers and the Tryptophan beginning to wear off, many of you will be heading out to start your Christmas shopping. Well, you’ll be glad to know that while you were enjoying your thanksgiving meal, the policies of your moronic president were hard at work reducing your buying power. Yes, Barack & Michelle are well on the way to ‘leveling the playing field’ by forcing you down to the poverty level. They are working day and night to make sure you “give up a piece of the pie so someone else can have one.” The dollar has now dropped to the lowest level against the Yen since Bill & Monica hooked up. If you happened to miss it between football and pumpkin pie, stock markets around the world dropped like a rock yesterday. This destruction of the free markets and devaluation of the currency is really nothing new; this ‘difficult transition’ has occurred repeatedly throughout history when nations fall to Communism!  This year you might be fighting the crowds for some great bargain, next year you might be fighting those same crowds for basic necessities.

I hear some of you out there calling me an alarmist, well so be it; I call it like I see it. I doubt many of you remember the great depression, but I’m sure you are aware of it. Well you may or may not be aware that the liberal ‘The New Deal’ policies, which led to our current bloated entitlement programs, were what pushed the nation from a recession into the greatest economic decline in our history. The Government poured piles of money into the economy and ‘shovel ready programs,’ the unions wielded unprecedented power, unemployment ran out of control, and our enemies ran wildly unopposed. Let me ask you, is any of this sounding familiar yet?

Now, just as they did then, the Democrats took a recession and turned it into a disaster. They failed us then and they are failing us now. Their policies have never worked in the past, so why would they work now? Oh, I hear a Lib out there yapping about Clinton balancing the budget, newsflash you dork, that was Newt and the boys that balanced the budget when the Republicans took back control of Congress! Wait a minute, did you catch that? Take back Congress, there’s a lesson there folks! Take back your Congress!

In the mean time, balance your budget and save your pennies; hope for the best and prepare for the worst. We have some tough times ahead and an even tougher fight, but “Chance favors the prepared mind.” Keep your eyes on the government and an even closer eye on your wallet.

Have we really become our own worst enemy?

The greatest enemies of freedom no longer reside in Russia, China, Iraq or Afghanistan, no they live right here among us. The lefties who have rammed this politically correct garbage down our throats can now add another huge victory to their list of accomplishments. These bleeding heart liberals can now openly claim victory against the US Military. While the Obama regime looks for a way to slink out of Afghanistan in defeat, terrorists will be allowed to preach their vile hate from the court room while they wait their inevitable acquittal. Our troops await reinforcements in Afghanistan, while Gitmo terrorists are provided taxpayer provided New York lawyers. But wait that’s not all, almost beyond the scope of comprehension, three US Navy Seals are now facing charges related to the capture of a ‘most wanted’ terrorist in Iraq. A Navy Seals strike team in Iraq grabbed up this terrorist, Ahmed Hashim Abed, and brought him in to face justice. This terrorist, who was turned over to Iraqi authorities, immediately complained that he was abused by his captors and he had a bloody lip to prove it. Oh no, not that! This poor little terrorist got a bloody lip – heavens no! Who was this terrorist you may ask. Well if you remember the incident in 2004 when Iraqi insurgents dragged the bodies of civilian contractors through the streets, burned the bodies, and then hung them from a bridge, this is the terrorist behind those acts. These 3 Navy Seals, instead of being hailed as heroes, are facing charges of abuse. Have we completely lost all sense of right and wrong? Have we been so blinded by the rose colored glasses of the left that we can’t see how completely absurd this is? This corrupt anti-American regime has already neutered our intelligence agencies with threats of prosecution, now they clearly have our Military in their sights.  What kind of message does this send to our troops? How can our soldiers effectively fight a war when they have to constantly worry about being jailed for their actions? People, war is ugly, you can’t put a pretty face on it. If our military is to be effective our troops need to know we will support them in their actions. Here’s my tip for our soldiers in the field, protect yourself by capturing no one, – just kill them! Dead men tell no tales. That’s right; if they’re dead you won’t have to explain their bloody lip.

A must read from Brian

OOOOOOOOOOH, Derrick, you have hit the launch button again by mentioning the FALN and that little band of terrorists.  You see, back in 1981, there was this young Glenview IL Police Officer, who had been on the force but one year, who came across a couple of suspicious individuals cruising around this young officer's district.  Suspicion, coupled with some poor driving habits on the part of the suspicious individuals, led to a traffic stop, which started a chain reaction of events that led to not only arrests of the two suspicious individuals, but the clearance of several heinous crimes, and the bringing to justice the leader of the FALN. Later that week, there were arrests of a dozen or so FALN soldiers by Evanston Police at an FALN safe house in Evanston.

The young Glenview Officer and his veteran back up, took into custody Oscar Lopez Rivera, and Wilfredo Santana that morning in the Willows District of Glenview.  After finding evidence of federal crimes, the fun really started after the FBI and U.S. Attorney were contacted and brought into the mix.

After all the smoke had cleared, Oscar was arrested for some heavy duty Federal Crimes and transported to the Federal Detention Center in Chicago.  Wilfredo was let lose as he hadn't committed any crimes......yet.

Before being transported from Glenview to Chicago, Oscar asked the FBI agents if he could have a moment to speak to the young officer who had arrested him.  When given the message from the agent, the young officer accepted the invite and went to see what Oscar had to say.  When he entered the lock up where Oscar was, Oscar approached the cell bars and addressed the young officer.  I won't tell you the full content of the conversation, but I can reveal this.  Oscar told the young officer that had the officer turned his back on Oscar during any part of that the initial traffic stop, he would have shot the officer in the back in the head with the 9MM that had been later found and confiscated from under the front seat of the car Oscar was driving.  The young officer smiled at the head of the FALN, turned his back to him, and left the cell block.

This killer sociopath was responsible for bombings, murder, burglaries, vicious assaults on federal security guards at an Army Armory in Wisconsin, and other assorted crimes.  This person, Oscar, and a whole host of other convicted terrorist criminals who were behind bars, were offered get out of jail free cards by President Clinton, the pardons orchestrated by Bill Holder, in order to get the Puerto Rican vote for Hillary in her senate bid.  The pardon was offered with one condition, that all those pardoned would not engage in any further terrorists activities after released.  Oscar Lopez Rivera turned down the pardon and is still serving time for the crimes he was convicted of.  The former Glenview Officer was devastated, disheartened, and felt betrayed by his government.

If you are wondering how I have so much information about all this, well, I was that young Glenview Officer who could have been killed that morning by a killer sociopath.  That being said, I must add that I have more respect for Oscar Lopez Rivera and his conviction in turning down the pardon because of its conditions, then I will ever have for Obama, Holder, or the Clinton's combined.

So now Obama wants to bring terrorists into the country for trial?  Hey, Barry, if Holder screws the pooch with the prosecution of this case, and the terrorists are found not guilty, ‘what cha gonna do’ then, Barry Boy?!

Have the Dems lost their soul?

Well, well, apparently you just can’t have it both ways! Democratic Congressman Patrick Kennedy has been barred from receiving communion. Kennedy has been recently sparring with the Catholic Church over his support and their opposition to the Democrat’s Healthcare Bill. Kennedy’s vocal stand supporting Abortion Rights and Federal Funding for abortions has earned him a great deal of criticism from the Catholic Church which clearly believes abortion is a sin. Kennedy has responded to the criticism by attacking the Church for failing to support healthcare for everyone. As a result of Kennedy’s statements against the Church and his continued support for federally funded abortion, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin has banned him from receiving communion and instructed the diocesan priests not to give him communion.

So Tooter, what’s the lesson here? Simple, you can’t run around supporting abortion, gay marriage and other issues that run counter to Christian values, then go to church and pretend to a good Christian. We’ve seen other prominent liberals such as Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi repeatedly “quote” Bible verses that don’t exist in their attempt to appear as ‘good Christians.’  Now, in America we have freedom of religion, it is a primary reason for the founding of our Nation, so no one has to subscribe to any religion. If you want to worship Joe Pesci, you are free to do so! However, if you proclaim to be a ‘devout’ anything, then work counter to those ideals – you are a hypocrite. If you claim to be a vegetarian, but still eat steak – you are a hypocrite. If you claim everyone needs to save energy, but fly around the world in your private jet – you are a hypocrite. If you claim to support conservative values, but hold office as a Democrat – you are a hypocrite. If you claim to be a Catholic, but support abortion – you are a hypocrite. I for one was pleased to see the Catholic Church finally take a stand against these self serving bozos. These Dems such as Kennedy want to take a stand that opposes Christian values without losing the support and of course the votes of Christians. Well I hate to break it to you Scooter; you just can’t have it both ways.

Well Jesse, there you go again!

If I were to say to you, “You can’t support Obamacare and call yourself a white man,” what would you think of me? If I stated that, “You can’t vote for a black candidate if you’re white,” would you say I’m racist? Well, Jesse Jackson just stated that “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.” Did you get that? Did Jesse just indicate that a man’s politics can and should be judged by the color of his skin? Did Jesse just claim that race should drive all policy decisions? Does Jesse think that a black man should just follow the Democratic Party line and not bother to study the issues for himself? Isn’t making an assumption about someone based on the color of their skin the very definition of racism? Welcome to ‘post racial America.’

Jesse Jackson is a racist, period. This piece of human garbage has made a living by stirring up racial tensions then exploiting them for personal gain. Jesse, who once slandered Jews by calling New York City ‘Hymietown,’ is the embodiment of racial hatred. So why is this guy so loved by the liberal left? Why is the liberal media so interested in everything this clown says? Simple, these guilty liberals believe ‘minorities’ are incapable of succeeding on their own and must be protected by special laws and policies. They like to divide us all into little boxes with tidy little labels and judge us as groups instead of as individuals. They judge people by the color of their skin, period. They believe that divisive figures such as Jesse and the Rev. Al Sharpton represent all minorities and therefore their opinion is to be taken as fact. People please wake up and smell the coffee, these people want and need racial tension. Jesse Jackson has done more harm to people of color than the KKK. These guilty liberals who loudly boast of their ‘support for the black community’ are simply showing their own bias. They are grouping people together and assuming to know what they want, need, or believe based on the color of their skin. Remember this the next time someone calls you racist because of a policy or candidate you support, it’s likely an admission of their own deep seated racism. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Fool me once….

Ah, more of the stinging truth shakes ‘the most transparent’ Administration in history. In another desperate attempt to prove that the $787 Billion Stimulus Package has done something besides line the pockets of political supporters, the Administration has been caught once again fabricating results. With the American people losing patience with this inept White House, the propaganda has been flowing at an increased rate. Despite the often repeated promises that this pork filled Bill would ‘save or create’ 3.5 million jobs, the economy has shed jobs at an alarming rate. Despite those claims that this massive addition to our debt would prevent unemployment from exceeding 8.5%, unemployment has soared to 10.2% with no relief in site. In their desperation, the Administration has posted fictitious job creation numbers to Recovery.gov. Let’s not forget that old Joe ‘open mouth insert foot’ Biden personally promised to track every dollar spent! As I’m sure most of you know by now, ABC and the Associated Press have both reported rampant distortions in the White House claims of job creation. Recovery.gov, supposed to be Joe Biden’s personal responsibility, reports jobs being ‘saved or created’ in Congressional Districts that don’t exist! Well, well, well – how convenient! Has anyone reported this to Flag@WhiteHouse.gov? Is it just me or shouldn’t the White House employees, Biden included, take at least a few moments to verify the accuracy of these claims? Mr. Obama has said this is just a ‘side issue’ and that jobs should be the real focus here; nice dodge there Barry. The White House is claiming that the jobs are real and these inaccuracies are just a result of human error. Well finally I can finally agree with the White House on something, this was a result of human error – but the human error was electing these clowns in the first place.

Billions spent with nothing but debt to show for it and no real proof of where the money went – welcome to Obama’s new age of accountability. Did I mention that the Dems in Congress now want to pass another massive spending bill? No, it’s not Obamacare or Cap & Trade, it’s a jobs bill! Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that’s what the ‘Stimulus’ was supposed to be? At what point do we say enough? At what point will people recognize the orchestrated fraud that permeates this Administration? These guys are starting to make Nixon and Carter look good! The repeated misstatements, back peddling, disinformation, and out right lies by this Administration should completely discredit anything and everything they say. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.  Ask yourself, are you a fool?

Poking a leftie in the eye!

So what do you have planned this weekend? Maybe you have to work (as I do) maybe you’re planning some yard work, Church activities, chores around the house or maybe just settling in for some football. Chances are you will interact with friends, neighbors, coworkers, fellow church members, etc. over the course of the next 2 days, so take that opportunity to take a shot at the liberals. To build on some of the tactics we talked about yesterday, I have some further suggestions on how you can have an impact with little effort.

I personally relish the opportunity to plant a seed against the reigning regime in purely casual conversation. When I hear someone complain about the price of anything going up, I always slip in something like “yea all that money their printing up there is jacking up the price of everything!” If someone mentions that they or someone they know just lost their job, I always throw in something like “it’s hard out there, I wonder what they did with all that stimulus money anyway?” It may seem small, but it sows the seeds of discontent with those who are otherwise ignorant or uninterested in what’s going on.

Our friend Brian suggested hitting the Liberals in their campaign coffers by returning their prepaid envelopes over stuffed and over weight to jack up their mailing costs. Brian suggested filling them with slugs; I personally stuff them full of other junk mail, a teabag, an anti-Obama bumper sticker, a note wishing them a crushing defeat, and add my famous Barack-Sucks.com return label. Just imagine little Lucy Liberal opening up what she hopes is a big donation and instead getting a pile of junk mail! It’s a small gesture for sure, but it takes almost no effort and gives the left a little poke in the eye.

A friend in Texas just informed me of some excellent training they are doing with their Republican Women’s group on the process of legislation, working with the Free Media, communicating with elected officials and other great information. These are the types of things we need to do in every community and I will be sure to pass the information on as soon as they are available.  

If we are to turn this thing around we have to take every opportunity that is available to us; take the fight to the enemy. We must and will build coalition of true patriots; simply tossing out a few bad apples won’t get the job done.  We must and will elect true conservatives to power and reverse this national nosedive into Socialism.

Time to take the gloves off.

If you support the principles our nation was founded on, you are a right-wing extremist! If you are opposed to Amnesty for illegal aliens, you just hate brown people! If you go to church or believe in God, you are a Bible Thumping Neanderthal! If you think a government take over of Healthcare is another step towards Socialism, you just hate poor people. If you’re opposed to the policies of the Obama Administration, you are a racist!

Let me guess, this isn’t the first time you’ve heard any of this – some of it is coming out of you own government! Well, get used to it. You will hear these same vile accusations on nearly every visit to discussion boards, political sites, news sites, and even ESPN! When liberals get cornered with those pesky facts they are forced to resort to name calling because they don’t have a legitimate argument. Get one of these clowns cornered and it’s the 4^th grade playground all over again. They think they can get you off subject, frustrate and anger you into going away. Don’t let them win! Most of these people haven’t had an original thought of their own since grade school, they just repeat what their socialist leaders program them to say. The more they insult you, the more you know you are hitting a nerve. The more they repeat these empty claims of racism and hate, the less effect they have – they are wearing out their only argument.

If you really want to frustrate the liberals, stay in the fight! Speak out loudly, clearly, calmly and know the facts. Hit every discussion board you can find and speak out. Troll along the Huffington Post and the Daily Kos and refute them with facts. Log into Amazon.com and write reviews on liberal books and movies such as “An Inconvenient Truth,” (it drives down their ratings.) Sign up and post responses to liberal ‘opinion’ articles posted on the News websites. Shock them by showing up at meetings of the local School Board, Democratic Party, Republican Party, etc. turn them into Town Hall meetings! Ignore the attacks and fire back! Will you be silent, or Silent No More!

Justice Department tramples the Constitution.

The US Justice Department has gone after Indymedia.us, a website based in Philadelphia, demanding all visitor information. The subpoena required the site host to turn over all “IP addresses, times, and any other identifying information," including e-mail addresses, physical addresses, registered accounts, and Indymedia readers' Social Security Numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, and so on.” Oh, and by the way, the subpoena instructed them not to even reveal the existence of the request. So if I’m getting this right, they demanded unlimited access to all information the site may have gathered about their visitors, but without the consent or knowledge of the visitors! Now if you think this was some right wing extremist site or group of radical terrorists you would be wrong; this was a left leaning “social justice’ site. Now, if these lefties aren’t safe from Eric Holder’s Justice Department who is? OK, so let’s get this straight – the same Justice Department, that refused to prosecute the Black Panthers for voter intimidation, has no problem subverting the Constitution when it fits their needs. The same Justice Department, that is so concerned over the rights of Gitmo terrorists, doesn’t care about your rights! These ‘public servants’ apparently have no problem trampling your Fourth Amendment guaranteed freedom from ‘unreasonable search and seizure.’ Eric Holder’s Justice Department clearly has no problem tossing aside the Constitution and crushing your First Amendment right to free speech.

This subpoena has now been withdrawn, but the US Attorney’s Office and the Justice Department of the “most transparent Administration in history” still refuse to comment on the issue. The question we must ask ourselves is how many times have they done this that we are unaware of? Just because they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar this time doesn’t mean they won’t try it again. This Administration has made it crystal clear they have no respect for Fox News, so what’s to prevent them from being next? How about the Drudge Report? How about your Facebook page? This Administration has been warned repeatedly by members of Congress over their maintaining of an enemies list, apparently they aren’t listening. Still trust them?

No public option for them!

What’s good for us isn’t necessarily good for them, at least that’s the way Congress sees it. According to a CNS News report the House Rules Committee rejected over 200 proposed Amendments to the Healthcare Bill including 11 that would force them to give up their ‘Cadillac’ plans and go on the public plan. Get that? It’s good enough for the American people, but not good enough for them! I know, I shouldn’t be shocked, and I’m not, but the gall of these people is still simply stunning. If this ‘Public Option’ would offer the competitive coverage they claim, why don’t they want it?  They sit in the ivory tower, cashing a big fat paycheck from the taxpayers, and looking down their collective noses at you. They apparently see you as the ignorant masses, which desperately need their great wisdom and mercy. They have convinced themselves that they are above you and deserve better than you. Time for a wake up call!

These elitists in Congress aren’t used to having people watch what they do much less question their actions. It’s time to make it clear that any healthcare bill must include language that forces all Government employees, including Congress and the SEIU, onto the public option. If they are willing to slash benefits for Medicare recipients, then they should be willing to slash their own benefits!  Michelle O. said everyone was going to have to give up something so others could have a piece of the pie, so what have they given up? If Congress is going to mandate that you buy health insurance or go to jail, maybe they should at least be forced to buy their own health insurance! We pay them enough that I’m pretty confident they could afford it!

I am writing my Senators to inform them that voting for a bill that includes a Public Option, but does not force ALL federal employees on it, is an act of class warfare. If they really believe in the rhetoric they spew to the media, then let’s see them put their money where their mouth is. Can they possibly justify imposing rules on us that they aren’t subject to? I know, they do it all the time, but can they justify it? Let’s challenge them on it! Point out this hypocrisy to everyone who will listen. Start writing those letters, and ask everyone you know to do the same. They keep telling us they’re going to level the playing field, let’s see if they really mean it.

I know many of you are feeling the sting of defeat. It’s true, the passage of HR 3964 is a major set back in the fight to preserve independence, but it is not the end of the fight. We lost a battle; we have not lost the war. Pick your head up and get focused, get serious about fighting back. This move by Pelosi and company is a huge step towards enslaving you to the will and control of the state. Make no mistake; this Bill has nothing to do with healthcare and everything to do with controlling your life. They want the ability to punish you for eating meat. They want to punish you if you choose to smoke, drink alcohol or even have a Pepsi. They want to punish you if you don’t exercise enough, and they certainly want to punish you if you make too much money. They want to take away your freedom to choose, period.

Now what about that nasty Cap & Trade Bill that is threatening to rear its ugly head again? This massive expansion of government control has little if anything to do with the environment, and again, everything to do with control. Their own statistics show it might, again might, lower the global temp by half a degree over 10 years. This type of system has been proven to kill jobs, destroy production, and increase debt while increasing the cost of everything! So we risk completely destroying the US economy to drop half a degree? Did you happen to catch Obama talking about the government controlling your thermostat; controlling when you do laundry or run your dishwasher? Are you kidding me? Please tell me where the Constitution gives them this authority? This is about more control. Cap & Trade is just another step on the road to tyranny.

Oh, and one that may have slipped under your radar –Card Check. This very real threat would open the door for Unions to force more workers into their servitude without even a vote! Here comes your workers paradise Comrade!

Oh, let’s not forget about our freedom of speech. They have attacked Fox News for refusing to submit. They have attacked talk radio for speaking out against them. The FCC Czar is seeking ‘parity’ on the internet, whatever that means. Oh and let’s not forget Flag@whitehouse.gov where you can report on your neighbors. They have attacked protesters at every opportunity from the very offices of government that we pay for! Call it what you will, but to me, it sure sounds like they’re attacking the 1^st Amendment.     

So let’s see; control the press, silence dissent, seize control of private industry - control what you eat, drink, drive, use, say and eventually think. Welcome to the world of Obamanation. Are you ok with this? Are you just going to sit there quietly on your couch like good little boys and girls? Are you so afraid of being ridiculed that you would rather submit to the chains of government control? This Bill passing in the House is a big black eye for us, but the sting from this hit should make you angry. So do something about it! It’s the Red pill or the Blue one people, which one will you choose? Me, I choose to fight. I’m out there and I’m involved – how about you?

Politically Correctness – the price we pay.

The tragedy at Fort Hood yesterday could have and should have been prevented, but we’re just too afraid to be labeled as biased or insensitive. We wouldn’t think of profiling, good gracious no! Wake up people, why are we still screening Irish Grandmothers at the airport? Unless Grandma is muttering anti-American slogans and carrying a Koran, I don’t think she’s really the threat! We all know that the 20-30 something Arab looking guy is exponentially more likely to be the threat, but oh let’s be careful not to offend him! Enough!!! This psycho that shot American soldiers was a clear threat. He was a lifelong Muslim who was openly opposed to the US military action in Muslim countries. This terrorist infiltrator repeatedly made anti-American statements, so why wasn’t he discharged?  Why was he allowed to remain in the midst of our brave soldiers? If a non-Muslim soldier had made the same statements that Hasan made, do you think he would still be in the Army?. This guy was living off the US Military – who he openly despised. This guy sympathized with suicide bombers! This liberal sensitivity crap has bit us in the rear again and will continue to do so as long as we allow it. This terrorist attempted to be a martyr by killing US soldiers to save his Muslim brothers in Afghanistan. This guy didn’t snap – this was planned. Hasan had given away his furniture and other personal belongings in preparation for his suicide attack. Hasan succeeded in killing 13 and wounding 30. Hasan is alive in a military hospital and reportedly paralyzed – sorry pal, no 72 virgins for you!

Just how out of touch are they?

Nancy Pelosi, apparently more delusional than normal, plans to push her version of Obamacare to the floor for a vote on Saturday. This is the same nutty San-Fran Nan that is claiming Tuesday’s elections were a big win for Democrats?!? I think it’s time to send Nancy for some of that ‘End of Life Counseling.’ The fact is the Democrats do not have the votes to pass this 1990 page piece of trash – despite their overwhelming desire to take over everything they just don’t have the votes to do it right now. Oh but wait, never fear, Obama to the rescue! Yes, the Great One, the self appointed messiah is heading up there tomorrow night and he’s going to set that Congress straight! Barack is heading to the Hill tomorrow to pressure Democratic lawmakers to ignore you and submit to his will. Now, despite the claims of Union thugs, Michael Moore, Moveon.org, and other members of the White House propaganda machine; the people do not want Obamacare.  A recent Rasmussen poll shows that 54% of Americans are opposed to the government’s so-called healthcare reform plan. So when you turn on the TV and see these little Marxists in the media spouting off about how the ‘American people want this’ – they are lying!  So if we assume that Congress can actually read and comprehend (and that’s a big assumption) then we have to also assume that they know we are opposed to this – so why would they still push it? Simple; they don’t care what you think! The people that you elected, the people you sent to Washington to represent you – don’t care what you think! Congressional approval ratings consistently run below 30%, so please explain to me why these people are still employed? If you ignore what your boss tells you to do, how long would you have a job? So why are you allowing your employee to ignore you? Will you lie down and submit or stand up and fight? Folks, it’s time to clean house. Not voting is no longer an option. Not getting involved is no longer an option. If you’re not registered to vote – get down to the DMV or Post Office and do it today! If you don’t know who your Reps. are – find out! If you don’t know how they are voting – find out! We are at a critical time in our country folks, our nation is at a crossroads – failure now is simply not an option.

It’s the Economy Stupid!

Yesterday was a big day for small elections. The GOP easily swept VA and NJ despite Obama’s recent campaigning. The NY-23 race was tight; Owens 49% to Hoffman 46% and 6% still going to the GOP candidate that dropped out (some people weren’t paying attention.) Some folks will be disappointed this morning, but considering Hoffman has only been on the scene for a month I would still say this was an amazing feat. I would still call this a victory, if for nothing else, the demonstrated effect of the Tea Party Conservatives.

Now, for the real story of yesterday’s elections – the surprising results of the exit polls. The results of these polls were not as many expected; energy and the so-called Healthcare ‘crisis’ were not even on the radar – it was the failing Economy. Bill Clinton said it repeatedly with great success, “It’s the economy stupid!” People are clearly worried and are rapidly losing faith in the democrat’s ability to turn things around.

This Economy has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel! Unemployment is at a 25 year high despite the White House claim of ‘saving or creating’ 665,000 jobs. Foreclosures are still rising. Oil is rising. Consumer confidence is down. Retail sales are down. The dollar is down and gold is way up! Does this sound like we’re on the right track? I believe, if the government had stayed out of it, we would already be in recovery. Government meddling is extending this recession, and I believe, making it worse. The actions of this government will eventually have an effect, but the results will not be desirable. Flooding the market with newly printed dollars will eventually increase prices across the board and reduce your buying power. The massive deficits we are accumulating will come back to haunt us, there’s simply no way around it. The Stock Market, despite the optimism of many, is riding a PE (Price to Earnings) bubble that is destined to pop.  I said it here months ago and I hope I am wrong, but I believe the economy will get worse before it gets better. The Administration says the Stimulus is working and the economy is recovering, the real question is - do you believe them?

Does the world really owe you anything?

I hear it all the time, “Why fight it, what’s wrong with free healthcare? What’s wrong with the government doing more, what wrong with them giving us more?” First of all, have you no pride? Have you lost all sense of personal responsibility? Are you so pathetic that you need someone else to take care of you? Have you been so brainwashed that you actually buy into this victim mentality? There is no free lunch, someone has to pick up bill; so what makes you think the world owes you something? What makes you think I owe you something? Now let me clarify something before you crawl through the computer screen to strangle me – some people legitimately need some help and I have no problem with that. Some people have conditions that warrant some help from us; and make no mistake - the US is the wealthiest and most generous nation in the world. These people are not who I am referring to, it is those who can do it for themselves but choose to leach off us to subsidize their lifestyle that deserve our anger. Let me give you a couple examples to help explain my point.

Over the summer I attended Town Hall meetings to express my opposition to Obamacare. I heard lots of sob stories of massive medical bills and uncovered conditions, but one of the most vocal proponents of Socialist medicine left the meeting in her brand new $35,000 Camry Hybrid. Please, if you can afford a $400 a month car payment you can afford to buy health insurance. Get the point; most of them can afford to pay for it but they don’t think they should have to! They want YOU to pay for it!   

Sunday I was waiting in line at the grocery store when I observed yet another prime example of wasted taxpayer money. Two women, each I would guess weighing close the 300 lbs., pushing 3 massive carts of food and of course paying with their food stamp card. They carefully segregated and purchased the items that we were paying for and then pulled out cash to pay for their beer and cigarettes. They proceeded to slowly lumber out of the store and squeeze their big taxpayer subsidized rear ends into a new Chevy Tahoe. Getting the picture yet?

These are just 2 small examples of what many of us see everyday. These are the same people who are out there demanding more, more, and more. Where does it end? Medicare is broke. Medicaid is broke. We are broke. The government obviously can’t manage the programs it has or we wouldn’t have this kind of fraud, but they want to add more!  They keep telling us how much money this Obamacare Bill will save through efficiency; I have to ask- is this what they call efficiency? Tell the government to fix the house they have before deciding the build on an addition! We are taxed enough!

GOP, learned your lesson yet?

Much to the chagrin of the GOP establishment, conservative Tea Party activists have propelled a true conservative into the lead in the NY-23 Special Election and forced GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava out of the race. This so-called ‘Moderate Republican’ who was endorsed by such big names as Newt Gingrich held views that clearly ran afoul of true conservatives. Her support of Government run healthcare, gay marriage, big labor, and other left leaning policies painted a picture of someone conservatives simply could not support. So instead of sitting on their hands and accepting yet another worthless candidate, unwilling to simply vote for ‘the lesser of two evils,’ grassroots organizers stepped up and took on not only the Dems but the GOP as well. Hello! So much for the media claims that the Tea Parties are just a wing of the Republican Party. So much for the media claims that the Tea Parties Groups are just a bunch of radical racist fringe groups. So much for those who say it’s a waste of time to take on the political establishment; we have and will continue to do so.  Take notice and be on notice; this is just the beginning!

They have underestimated the will and determination of the American people and it will cost them dearly. They told us to sit down and shut up because the ‘adults’ were now in charge. Well, I’ve never been really fond of taking orders from Communists and I just don’t see that changing anytime soon!

Finally, we were clearly correct in our assessment of Scozzafava as a liberal RINO. Despite that R next to her name, she has now openly endorsed the liberal Democrat over the conservative. The GOP needs to wake up and learn a hard lesson from this election. We are paying attention and we won’t just vote for whoever they tell us to. How many conservatives simply stayed home in 2008 because they refused to vote for McCain? Obama didn’t win because the country supports socialism; Obama won because there wasn’t a clear alternative! With 365 days till the election, now is the time to find candidates we can support. Get out there and get involved, find your local Tea Party today!
