Its strange this morning; we have attacks by terrorists in Russia that the media fails to report as ‘Muslim terrorists’ but militia groups raided by the ATF & FBI here in the US are loudly broadcast as ‘Christian Militias.’ Am I the only one who sees the blatant media bias here? The Russian attack is being blamed on Chechen Rebels, who have carried out multiple attacks in the past, but there’s no mention that they are a Muslim terrorist group. No mention that this group’s goal is to establish an Islamic State in southern Russia; no mention of the ‘peaceful’ religion of Islam at all. However these so-called militia groups in MI, OH, and IN were immediately identified as Christian!  YIKES! They must be dangerous! You always hear of terrorist attacks by Christian groups! You always hear about Christian suicide bombers! Yea; right. Countless Mosques in this country are openly preaching hate against the US, but the Government launches raids on these ‘Christian’ groups instead? Were these groups really a bigger threat? Were they really even a threat at all? These groups were swarmed by heavily armed ATF and FBI agents using sealed federal warrants, but no word on what they may have done wrong. And exactly what did these folks do to warrant such attention? What law have these folks broken? The only thing I can find is the possibility of some gun law violations. Now I’m not defending the militias, I have no idea if these militias were up to no good or not, but notice the stark difference in how the stories are reported. Muslims receive preferential treatment from the media and special treatment by the government, but its open season on Christians. Just another sign of how far this Country has fallen.

 On Sunday, March 21^st the Democrats won the vote on Obamacare, and ushered in the new wave of Progressive Communism. This is a process we have seen in countries such as the old Soviet Union, or Communist China, but the United States of America?

 Obamacare strikes directly at the moral fiber of the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. Look at all the unethical dealings, the closed door meetings, the programs of trading your vote for underhanded deals, and the total disregard of our nation’s heritage and moral foundation of what our Forefathers intended. Be assured this is only the beginning of what is coming down the pipeline that will destroy what remains of our freedoms, and liberties. Obama will now start making adjustments to healthcare, including total government control with the one payer system.

 Next, Obama will push to make Illegal Democrats legal citizens.

 Our country was based on a capitalist form of economy where all people have a chance to make his own way as far as he wanted while creating jobs for other people. At least until the Democratic Party created programs so that people didn’t have to work. Obama’s way is telling people to look to him, and the government, not private industry. You know those companies large, and small that pay most of the taxes that provide our government money to exist.

 Obamacare creates the following:

     1) 159 new government agencies, along with hundreds of thousands of new Bureaucrat jobs that make decisions we most live by.

     2) The IRS will keep tabs on who is insured properly, and levy stiff fines, and/or jail to those that don’t comply. This will create 10’s of thousands of bureaucratic jobs.

     3) Insures that as many as 32 million Illegal Aliens will be covered with healthcare at little or no cost to them.

     4) The costs associated with this bill, as all government programs will always exceed congress’s low projections. This is accomplished by paying premiums for the first ten years, but actually only insures people the last six years. Tricky!

     5) Despite what Obama is saying, in fact our insurance premiums will double over the next six to 10 years, and then explode there after. This is according to the CBO.

 On the plus side:

1)    Congress lacks authority to force citizens to purchase mandatory healthcare.

2)    At least 36 State legislatures are planning to file lawsuits against the Federal Government for overstepping their authority.

3)    States simply can not afford the costs of the Federal mandates that states must pay through Obamacare.

4)    Hopefully there will be court action to reverse this corrupt program!

Obama is hell bent to push our country into bankruptcy. This is a move to drive us into a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!

What now?

We just took a major hit to the face and we’re stinging pretty bad right now, so should we just lie down and give up? So are you ready to just roll over and take it like good little boys and girls? Are you ready to just sit quietly as our Nation plunges off the cliff of socialism? I didn’t think so, but what can we do?

First, the fight over this thing is not over. The GOP is fighting hard to block the Reconciliation Bill in the Senate, gut it and amend it to death.  This could be a very close fight as some Dems are opposed the changes proposed by the House; let them hear from you. Let your Senators know where you stand, make them feel some heat.

Also, has your State joined the fight to challenge the constitutionality of this Bill?  Has your State joined others in attempting the block the Obamacare mandates at the State level? If they have, write call and email your State Reps. and Senators and express your support for this action. If they have not stepped up, get after them. In my state, such a Bill has passed the Senate, but is currently stalled in the State House. In an attempt to push this ahead we are staging a sit in at the Capital and circulating petitions demanding the Bill be brought to a vote. Look how many people went to the US Capital; it’s certainly a lot easier to travel to your State Capital, so have you - can you? The US House of Representatives was receiving 100,000 calls an hour last week, but how many calls have been received by your State House or Senate?

Finally, consider joining groups like the Precinct Project that are focused on uniting, educating, registering and getting conservatives to the polls on November 2^nd. This Obamacare fight has clearly separated the Republicans from the Democrats and thrown that age old claim that they’re ‘all the same’ right out the window.  Get involved with your local GOP, 912, Tea Party and other groups; get off your couch and get out there if you haven’t already. Every one of us has a role to play, but anyone can make a phone call. If you have just been reading emails and articles, start writing and posting your own; increase your participation. I know everyone is frustrated and rightfully so, we just suffered a major defeat – freedom suffered a major defeat, but we can’t give up. How many battles were lost by the Continental Army in their fight for Independence? Real Patriots will never give up. Real Patriots will always stand tall in the defense of our Nation and defense of our Constitution. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and get back in the fight.

Who knows, the Supreme Court may throw the whole thing out!

Do you get it yet?

Do you understand what has just happened? Do you now finally see the true agenda of this Administration? Do those of you who slammed me as an ‘alarmist’ finally see the writing on the wall? What will it take to wake the people from their self induced coma? Do you understand that the government just voted to impose their will over the will of the American people? How far must it go before Americans decide to punish those who are taking our freedoms?

The passage of this disastrous bill by Congress, this massive takeover of the American Economy is not only reprehensible, but unforgivable and probably irreversible. Do you understand that this Bill slashes Medicare for our seniors so Democrats can give free healthcare to their lowlife supporters? Do you understand that those who fought for this country will not receive the benefits they were promised so that the lazy, those that contribute nothing to our nation or our economy, will get free healthcare? Do you understand that the Democrats just ruled that they not only have the right to force you to buy the Insurance they tell you to, but also force you to buy insurance for your neighbor? Don’t like it; they’ll fine you. Don’t pay the fine; the IRS will just take it! Refuse to submit; they’ll jail you! Is this freedom? Is this Liberty? They just voted to take even more of your hard earned money and spread it around to buy more votes! Someone please tell me how we are going to pay for this? How are we, the working people of this country, going to pay for this? How can we pay for this when we lose our jobs as companies are forced to slash jobs? The massive regulation and taxation of the job producers that this Bill creates will simply destroy our economy. The Caterpillar Corporation just reported that this Obamacare Bill will cost them $100 million in the first year alone, yet the Democrats are claiming this Bill will encourage companies to create thousands of jobs and make them more competitive! How stupid do they think we are?

Finally, those blind gullible sheep that claim Jesus would support Obamacare because he said that we should care for the poor do so for their own personal gain! These disgusting bottom feeders are willing to twist his words, claiming to know what Jesus would do, so they can themselves collect more freebies from the American Taxpayer. Here’s a little wake up call for these people, Jesus said we should care for the poor – the least among us – he didn’t say we should steal from our neighbors to give to the poor. He didn’t say the government should take from one to give to another. He didn’t say the ‘poor’ had the right to just come in and take the fruits of your labor. Oh, and if you noticed, he said the poor, not the lazy! The Bible also says if you don’t work, you don’t eat! Put that in your pipe and smoke it leftie!

Now, look at what’s coming next because this is only the beginning. This is just the first of many attacks to come on the American way of life. This Regime is poised to seize control of the Financial Industry. This Regime is poised to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. This Regime is poised to seize control of the Energy Industry. This Regime is poised to seize control of the Internet. They will control what insurance you buy, if and when you can see a doctor, what you drive, what you eat, and what light bulb you use. Throughout history, tyrannical Regimes disarm their populations, how long before they come for yours?

Do not underestimate the crushing effects of this Bill. Do not for a minute underestimate this attack on you freedoms. Think I’m wrong; fine. Call me a crackpot, alarmist, or just delete me; I don’t care, but you have been warned. Ignore the actions of this corrupt, power hungry, tyrannical Regime at your own peril.

Is this really tyranny?

The word tyranny has been tossed around quite a bit since the Obama Regime seized power a year and a half ago. But is that description really accurate? Has our Federal Government really crossed the line? Is our Government really stealing our freedom by exerting their will over the will of the people? Tyranny is defined as “oppressive power exerted by government.” Hmm, does sound a bit familiar doesn't it. Do the people support the Government’s takeover of Banks and other private companies?  Every poll I’ve seen shows the people are opposed, yet the Government seeks the power to seize even more through a new ‘Financial Reform’ bill. We could talk about dozens of examples of this Administration trampling the Constitution by ignoring the will of the people, but the most glaring example is of course Obamacare. Every single poll, regardless of who has taken it, shows the people overwhelmingly oppose this outrageous power grab by the government, but the Regime demands Congress push it through. The socialists that have infiltrated our government have shown they are willing to do anything to force their agenda on the people against their will. The fact that they would even consider changing the House rules to push this Bill through without a vote is a blatant betrayal of the American people. They are ignoring your will, they are ignoring the very people they are sworn to represent, they are defiling the Constitution they are sworn to defend. They feel they know best, they feel you are far too stupid to make your own decisions, they have decided to seize your right to make decisions for yourself. Do you really want a Socialist ACORN thug from Chicago making the decisions for you and your family? Do you really support the Federal Government stealing money from you and using it to buy votes from the ‘disadvantaged’? How about their refusal to seal the borders? How about their plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens to gain their votes? How about traveling the world slamming America and praising Islam? How about their kissing up to oppressive radical Islamic regimes while abandoning Israel and other loyal allies? Is this your will? This reckless, oppressive Administration is forcing it’s will upon the people, welcome to Tyranny; welcome to Obamaland.

Another racist Tea Party Group, oh wait…

A new Tea Party group has arrived on the scene and as usual the ‘downstream media’ and their hard left cronies will attempt to label them as just a bunch of ignorant racists, but wait that may be more difficult than they think. You see, the founder of this group is a 52 year old lady from Omaha Nebraska who happens to be married to a black man! Gasp! How could that be? Does she not know that as a Tea Party member she must be a racist? Does she not know he’s black? But wait, there’s more; this front line patriot is Virginia Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Uh oh, someone of this stature joining the movement, the lefties can’t be happy about that!

Virginia has launched Liberty Central Inc. a non-profit lobbying group that will “organize activism around a core set of conservative principles.” I encourage you to stop by and visit her at Liberty Central .

Now, logically this should be the final nail in the coffin for the claims of racism against the Tea Party Groups, but since when have facts ever matter to Liberals? No, they will continue their unsupported mindless attacks against the Tea Parties; they will just be forced to use a different tactic to attack Virginia. I may be wrong, but I expect the Obamabots to use her involvement in the movement to attack her husband and try to force him from the bench. Remember, the left knows no limit, to them the ends justify the means regardless of the harm it may cost the nation.  Stand tough the time is growing short; this coming election may very well be our last best shot to save our economy and preserve our freedoms.

Is that the best ya got?

Insults and personal attacks are just part of expressing your opinion these days, particularly so if you are a conservative and absolutely guaranteed if you dare criticize Mr. Obama. There are 2 primary attack lines used by the left against the Tea Parties and their members, and yes I get them all the time.

The first is of course, “Where were you when Bush was President?”  Now, this one is just down right silly. First of all, Bush isn’t the president anymore, get over it. This argument implies that just because Bush spent too much money it’s ok for Obama to now triple the deficit. Yes, Bush made mistakes and he definitely spent way too much money. However, the argument fails if you simply take the time to look at the facts. Fact: the Bush Administration ran its largest deficits during the last 2 years – Congress controls the money and Democrats controlled the Congress during those 2 years. Get it, Democrats had to support and approve that spending and they did! Fact: TARP was a huge mistake and I opposed it, but again, let me remind you that TARP was approved by a Democrat controlled Congress. Fact: Bush loved this Country; Obama wants to change this Country. Fact: love him or hate him, Bush was NOT a socialist, your President is. Ok, I feel much better now.

The other method of attack by the lefties is, “The Tea Parties are just a bunch of ignorant racists.” First of all there are minorities in the Tea Party movement, do they hate themselves? Do they not know they are minorities? Have the lefties just neglected to tell them they shouldn’t think for themselves?  Martin Luther King (Republican) said he hoped his children would be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin, so why do the lefties constantly focus on skin color? Have they forgotten that Ronald Reagan, a primary hero of many Tea Party members, was the one who made Martin Luther Kings JR’s birthday a National Holiday? Have they forgotten that Barack Obama is half white? Are we not allowed to disagree with Mr. Obama simply because he’s half black? Can we just disagree with the part that is half white; would that be racist as well? Anyone using this ridiculous argument is not only a fool, but probably themselves a self loathing closet racist. Do these people think that they need to defend a black president because he isn’t smart enough to do it for himself? Do these lefties feel they must come to the defense of all minorities, regardless of their actions, because they are incapable of doing for themselves? Did the Cambridge Police Dept. really act “stupidly” by arresting an abusive out of control suspect, simply because the suspect was black? Wait a minute; didn’t Obama publicly make a judgment on that case before he had the facts based simply on the race of those involved? Hmmm, wouldn’t that make this temporary resident of the White House guilty of racism? Wake up lefties; look in the mirror before you spew your malicious lies. Your argument is not only intellectually dishonest, but a clear indicator of your own racist character.

Obama lies again…

If this Healthcare Bill is so great, why are the Obamabots having such a hard time selling it? Allow me to quote Mr. Obama himself:

A good compromise, a good piece of legislation, is like a good sentence; or a good piece of music. Everybody can recognize it. They say, 'Huh. It works. It makes sense.'

If this is such a good piece of Legislation, why doesn’t everybody recognize it? If this thing will really save all this money, like Obama and Company keep telling us, then why did Obama lie about the numbers? Out on the campaign trail again on Monday Mr. Obama overstated how much his ‘Healthcare Plan’ would save by a mere $868 Billion. Not only did he give blatantly false numbers but attributed the number to the CBO! Now of course the White House is claiming he just mixed up the numbers, that he gave the numbers for the 2^nd decade, please. Now, if that was true, then he was using numbers the CBO itself said are unreliable, so either way he’s intentionally misleading the public! I’m sorry; I’m not buying their story. Do you really think he misspoke? We all know the guy can’t speak without his omnipresent teleprompter, so how could he accidentally get the numbers wrong? Did the teleprompter misspeak? Either the guy can’t read, or he can’t tell the truth – which one do you think it is?

Just turn 'em off.

I think by now we all know the country is in serious trouble, most people with a brain, regardless of political background, can look around and tell there’s a problem. Even if you just look at the financial issues, and ignore Obamacare, Cap & Trade, Foreign Policy, and other disasters, you have to acknowledge there’s a problem. Even if you just look at the soaring budget deficits and massive foreign debt, if you are honest with yourself, you have to admit we’re in trouble. So where is the media outcry? Isn’t the media supposed to be the great watch dog for the people? Where are these reporters now that were screaming recession when unemployment rates were in the mid 5% range? Where are these news anchors that were screaming about the spending when we were running deficits 70% lower than we are now? Why are those who prior to ‘the historic election’ made the ‘bad economy’ the top story every night now telling us it’s getting better when it’s not? Why did the ‘down stream media’ ignore the fact that January had the worst home sales in history despite government incentives? How can these people call 36,000 jobs lost good news and call 9.7% unemployment a good sign? Simple, the media sold their soul to liberalism long ago and will go to any length to sell their views to the American people. They will defend this Socialist Regime regardless of what they do. They have signed on as the propaganda wing of the Obama Administration - feeding you, if you let them, a steady diet of snake oil. Think I’m wrong, just look at the treatment of the Tea Parties by the media as opposed to how they treated those grubby unwashed war protestors. Look at the aerial pictures of the ‘Inauguration’ vs. the September 12^th March on Washington, then look at the attendance records the media reported for those events. Need more proof, just watch MSNBC for 5 minutes, if you can take it that long. What these folks attempt to pass off as ‘news’ is shamefully and purposely biased. Enough; take a stand - turn ‘em off and cancel those subscriptions.

Meet the new boogeyman.

Your illustrious socialist President has done it again. Mr. Obama summoned Insurance executives to the White House yesterday as part of his ongoing scheme to create an ‘enemy’ he can save us from. He attacked them over their ‘excessive’ profits as he tries to convince the public that he’s working to protect us. Make no mistake my friends, it’s all propaganda. His socialist plot to take over the Healthcare Industry, and with it a huge chunk of the American Economy, isn’t getting the support of the American people or even some in his own Party. Mr. Obama, with his sagging poll numbers, must do something to drum up support and fool voters into supporting this blatant attack on the free market and the American way of life. Mr. Obama must find an enemy to save us from, enter the Insurance Companies.

Have you noticed that the purpose for Obamacare keeps changing? I thought this thing was to cover those 50 Million uninsured, or was it 40 million or 30 million? No, it was to help those who have pre-existing conditions, yea that’s it! Oh wait, it’s to lower medical costs for everyone! He says he wants a single payer system, and then he says he really wants a Public Option to compete with private insurers, and then it was Insurance Exchanges – but the people haven’t responded to any of them! Now it’s all so clear – it’s those evil insurance companies! That’s it, let’s make them the boogeyman! Whew, that’s a lot of dancing for one piece of legislation! If this was such a great idea, why are they having such a hard time convincing the people?

Don’t be fooled into buying this latest ploy, it’s just more disinformation from a dishonest man. If our healthcare system is really as broken as they claim, why do world dignitaries come here for treatment? Why did a Canadian leader recently come here for heart surgery? I think we have all had issues with an insurance company at one time or another – it doesn’t mean they’re evil. I believe most of what is wrong with our healthcare ‘system’ is over regulation. The government has added so many mandates, regulations, rules, and red tape that it’s amazing anything gets done. Has the government ever regulated anything into prosperity? Think about it people, the government has never efficiently run anything! We have an amazing military that is very effective, but it is anything but efficient. The government builds great highways, but it takes them forever and they always run over budget. Look at any government run agency and ask yourself, do I want to go there to see the doctor? Do you love waiting in line at the DMV, well then you would just love Obamacare!

The next month will be extremely critical in stopping this march over the cliff of socialism, don’t let your guard down – there’s far too much at stake.

Say what?

I was talking with a good friend recently, telling him about a Tea Party I’ll be speaking at, when he asked me what my motivation was. He was curious as to why I continue to expend so much time and energy on something that doesn’t earn me money. Was I interested in running for some sort of office? No, definitely not, and I explained to him I just want to get as many conservatives to the polls as possible to throw these Libs out of office and regain control of our government. During our discussion he made the statement that “they have to stop spending money we don’t have – I can refer my financial advisor to them if they need it.” Why am I telling you this, because this statement not only mirrors what many of us ‘Tea Partiers’ have been saying for a long time, but it came from a lifelong Democrat. I have joked with him in the past that he’s a conservative he just doesn’t know it yet, but there is some truth to that. There are so many out there that vote Democrat regardless of who is running; they’ve just never really paid that much attention (my friend does pay attention). I’ve often heard the statement, “My father voted Democrat and his father voted Democrat, so I will vote Democrat.” However, the outrageous actions of the Democrats in Congress have some party loyalists beginning to question the actions of their party. The complete and utter disregard for the will of the people by this Administration has even some lifelong Democrats questioning the motivation of those they helped put in power. There has been some defection from the Democratic Party already (such as the freshman Rep from Alabama), and I hope we might see even larger defections in the future. The old school Democratic Party is gone, a victim of the progressive movement, pushed so far to the left that it’s no longer recognizable as the party it once was. Remember this; Ronald Reagan was at one time a Democrat. Reagan once said, “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me.”  I sincerely hope that many more will wake up, pay attention, and follow the lead of President Reagan by leaving the Democratic Party.

The moral of the story: don’t be afraid to speak up, keep reaching out to everyone, you’ll find conservatism on the rise everywhere you look.

The 85% Rule

Sitting here this morning, going through the news and watching it snow; I started thinking a little bit about the diversity in the conservative movement. Republicans, Libertarians, Tea Partiers, 9-12ers, and others, all with similar ideas on certain subjects yet wildly diverse in others. Despite similar goals, we have seen bickering among all of these groups and infighting that threatens to weaken us. I’ve been asked to speak about conservative unity at a Republican Conference later this month and I can’t help but wonder how, how do we unite these diverse conservatives together for the common cause? What could I possibly say that might help these folks find common ground with other groups as well as with each other? Make no mistake, the Dems have these same problems as evident in the current Obamacare debates, so how do we overcome our differences so we can achieve the common goals we do have?

While doing my morning updates to the website, I stumbled across the following quote from Thomas Jefferson:

“An association of men who will not quarrel with one another is a thing which has never yet existed, from the greatest confederacy of nations down to a town meeting or a vestry.”

This quote to me demonstrates that these same issues existed even during the earliest days of our Nation, yet they managed to work through and around these issues to form this great Republic. Our Founding Fathers did not agree on everything, these great Patriots – these giants among men who sacrificed everything to form this great Union, had to put aside some of their disagreements to achieve their goals. We my friends, my fellow patriots, must be willing to do the same; put aside our disagreements and focus of the issues we all agree on.  I have long said that if you agree with anyone on everything you’re not thinking for yourself – you are a sheep. We will never agree on everything my friends, but the crisis we face in this Country is too great for us to allow anything to divide us.  

Please take a moment today to think about those things that we all agree on, those base issues that binds us together. Call it the 85% rule, the 85% of things we do agree on - rally around protection of our Constitution and a return to fiscal responsibility. We are each strong in our convictions, divided we lose momentum, united we may very well be unstoppable.

BUY AMERICAN!!!

Remember that slogan? Remember the bumper stickers from the 80's that said "BUY AMERICAN...THE JOB YOU SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN"? Ya'll remember the 80's...heavy metal hair bands, Reagan and then Bush Sr. in the White House, and in my area, the start of what would signal the decline and extinction of the United States' domination of the steel industry (which could be credited to Jimmy Carter in the 70's)?

Well America, you are again reaping what you've sown. Instead of buying American made cars, you resorted to buying foreign JUNK. That's right, I said it....JUNK. Here you sit now with your (Socialist-wannabe) Government financially bailing out the American Auto industries of GM and Chrysler...and why? Was it because Suzuki’s and Hyundai’s were cheaper, or because they had a better warranty? All I can say to you is this, Forrest: STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES. You never minded the fact that when you bought your foreign car, the profit from the sale went overseas instead of staying at home, thereby supporting that nation's auto and steel industries rather than your own.

And how about "Cash for Clunkers" rip off?? Brought to you by Jimmy Carter the 2nd (A.K.A. Barack Obama). Anyone ever peep the stats on that? I did. Check it out:

25.4 miles per gallon is the average fuel economy of vehicles purchased under the “cash for clunkers” program.
15.8 mpg is the average for clunkers turned in for demolition.
9.6 mpg is the average increase in fuel economy — a 38% improvement.
83% of the clunkers traded in are SUVs and trucks.
60% of the new vehicles purchased are cars.
47% of the new vehicles are made by Ford, General Motors or Chrysler.

Four out of five were foreign and only one was American made, and that one was made by the company that DIDN'T take Federal bailout money.

I've never been a Ford fan...always been a GM fan. I was raised by an American Steel worker who spent his career in the steel mills of Indiana Harbor, producing steel for the American auto industry. A man who not only preached to me to pay for everything I possibly could with cash instead of running up credit card debt, but also a man who threatened to beat the bejesus out of me if I ever bought a foreign car. Not that American cars were perfect...they've all had recalls...but the profit from those cars stayed at home.

Now, here we sit watching Mr. Akio Toyoda testify to a U.S. Panel about the recall of 8.5 million Toyota vehicles that have an acceleration problem, of which he stayed quiet about until earlier this month. Ah, yes...Toyota..brought to you by the same people who brought you PEARL HARBOR. Do ya'll remember that event, or do they not teach that in public schools anymore?

   Yes, America, you are now reaping what you've sown by buying foreign goods. My question is...when are you gonna wake up and support your OWN country?! Don't think for a minute that at least part of every dollar you spend on those goods made in China at Wal-Mart isn't going to fund the build up of the Chinese Army!!
