03-31-2009 Can anyone tell me why Obama has ignored the flooding in Fargo ND? He has time to jet off NY to joke around with Jay Leno, but just can't squeeze in a visit to the flood victims? Does Obama not care about White People? In the wake of the left's Bush Bashing over Katrina, I would like to hear them defend Obama's lack of action here. Did Obama not get enough votes out of Fargo? To give you a little update on the results of earth hour; the inventor of the internet, the great savior of the planet, and well known blowhard, Al Gore himself skipped Earth Hour. Visit the Home Page for a first person account, but if Big Al himself didn't kill the lights, what does this say about his commitment to the cause? If he really believed the rhetoric he spews, don't you think he of all people would have turned off his lights? Fact is folks, it's a farce and he knows it, like that guy in the White House Al uses fear to control the actions of others. If Al was really scared the Earth was melting would he live in an energy sucking mansion? Would he fly around in a private jet? Would he publish a new book on tree killing paper? Barack Obama has launched 'Organizing for America,' basically converting his 'grass roots' campaign group into a political support group. Barack is using these people to push his socialist agenda in 'Urban areas.' They are waging a massive campaign to support his push to socialism. Barack is taking a page right from Saul Alinsky on how to overthrow capitalism. Be afraid, be very afraid. 03-30-2009 Happy Monday? Sorry I'm getting this out so late, but it's a busy day in the dark realm of our socialist President. The Obama Administration has forced out GM CEO Rick Wagoner and several Board Members. The government now promises to send a task force to "assist" GM with its restructuring plan. WOW, what a great idea because the government has proven to be so good at saving money. These Bozos have crossed the line yet again. Has everyone in Washington lost their minds? They are going to save the US Automakers by taking them over? They are going to cut the deficit by quadrupling it? They are going to reduce energy prices by increasing the cost of producing it? They are going to make the world safer by abandoning our allies in Poland, The Czech Republic, Israel and Japan; and cuddling up to Iran and ignoring North Korea? They are going to protect the country from terrorism by closing Gitmo and moving the terrorists to the US? They are going to 'Spur' US investment by raising taxes? Stupid is as stupid does. Remember Barack's idea of building an 'Urban Militia' equal in strength to the Military? We have now heard unconfirmed reports that the BO Administration has 'set aside' 80,000 troops for "Domestic Emergencies." I didn't see any troops helping in Fargo ND, so apparently they're not to be used for weather related emergencies, so what then? The report said they are worried about civil unrest due to a worsening economy. Is this true, I'm not sure, but nothing surprises me anymore. We have recently seen what happens when order breaks down. Hurricane Katrina cut off supplies of electricity, gas and food; this led to a complete collapse of law and order, violence, looting, and even murder. The Rodney King verdict led to days of rioting, with entire neighborhoods cut off from normal services and left without police protection. Remember the armed Korean grocers fighting to protect their stores because the police had backed down? The average city has about 3 days worth of food and fuel available at any given time and we've all seen how quickly that disappears when the public panics. Seemingly normal people do unthinkable things when they get desperate. But wait a minute; I thought the economy was getting better? Well, I am of the belief that the economy will get better before it gets worse, yes you read that right. With the massive piles of freshly printed money flowing into the economy, we should see a SHORT term improvement. This improvement however will be short lived as this heavy supply of money devalues the dollar and leads to out of control inflation. I know how crazy this sounds and it is, it sounds like something out of a bad movie, but would anything coming out of Washington surprise you? I’ve never been an alarmist or one to buy into the big government conspiracy theories, but this guy is nuts. I hope I am dead wrong, but what if I'm not? Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst; continue the fight against this out of control President. 03-29-2009 Holy loss of privacy Batman! If you haven't been to church in a while, today might be the day! The BO Administration is ready to ask Congress for the power to "seize non-bank financial institutions it deems in crisis." This authority would go to the Treasury Dept. meaning Geithner, meaning Barack. You may ask what's the difference, not much except that they could now seize Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, 401K's, etc. They could seize any or all of these without Congressional approval! Guess what, if the government seizes control of your mutual fund company they have access to ALL of your financial information WITHOUT A WARRANT! And people were worried about the CIA wire tapping potential terrorists? The Congress has just proved itself willing to defy the Constitution by passing a retroactive tax, where will they stop? Where does the Constitution say it's ok to pass a clearly illegal bill if it helps you save your sorry ass? This power to seize private industries for the government is paralleled only under Hugo Chavez. Did you think 'Change' meant Hugo Chavez for President? Enough is enough my friends, let's get to the task at hand, we must stop this guy. Step up, do something, anything, do not sit on the sidelines and watch them ruin our nation. 03-28-2009 For you cold hearted republicans who have not realized what today is, it's Al Gore's 'Earth Hour' day. Yes, yet another day set aside to promote the fairy tale of Global Warming that makes big Al rich. From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM you are supposed to use zero energy; no car trips, no lights on, no TV, etc. I'm going to light up everything I own, including leaving the Big Screen on all night! I'm even considering driving my (so called) Gas Guzzling American Made Lincoln to the Steak House to support those CO2 emitting cattle! Global Warming is a scam people, WAKE UP! If these folks were serious about CO2 emissions, they would shut their big CO2 emitting MOUTHS! Here's a little tip for the tree hugging dirt people out there, TAKE A SHOWER HIPPY! Since I'm on a roll I might as well talk to the rest of Barack's delusional, low life supporters; PULL UP YOUR PANTS, LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH, AND GET A FREAKIN' JOB! Have a great weekend! 03-27-2009 Happy Friday! A recent poll shows that 64% of Americans are worried about losing their job, yet since the beginning of the down turn only 3.2% have. If you listen to the drivel on the Network News you're likely tempted to jump out a window at any given moment. Now don't get me wrong, in certain industries such as automotive, banking, finance, or Congress, you have legitimate reasons to worry (if I were Geithner I'd be on Monster.com RIGHT NOW!) However, if you work in an industry that is fairly solid (like a Krispy Kreme next door to Oprah;) work hard, do your best, save your money, and stop worrying. Stop worrying about things you can't control, and focus on those you can (like Tea Parties!) If you haven't figured it out yet, they want you scared, like waking up naked next to Barney Frank with a Tequila hangover kind of scared. They need you scared like Michael Jackson at a PTA meeting kind of scared. They need you scared in order to stay in power; they want you scared enough to buy into this redistribution garbage. Well I am scared, scared of what these clowns might actually accomplish; scared it will be irreversible if they do succeed. My wife is scared the guys in black suits are going to show up if I keep doing this! Well, I guess I'll just take my chances. I didn't make that one up, it's a Fred Thompson quote, but it does say a lot about our society today. Let's look at some examples of things that make you say huh? I read recently that 40% of the children born in America last year were born to an unwed mother. The average American household owes $20,000 in credit card debt. 'Dancing with the Stars' results are covered more than the Iraq war. People standing in line all night to buy an $800 I-Phone had the gall to complain about the tough economy? More than 60% of people making over $100,000 say they are living paycheck to paycheck. The Weight Watchers spokes models keep getting larger. Only 4% of Americans over 65 can write a check for over $600. Oprah is still on TV. Pluto is only slightly larger than Rosie O'Donnell so it's no longer considered a planet. Al Gore has a $10,000 a month electric bill. One out of every 6 Americans gets the Earned Income Credit kick back at tax time because they had more kids than they could afford. People drive a Camry, buy everything from China, then complain about jobs moving overseas. Teddy Kennedy is still alive. The average 30-year-old American has a negative net worth. Americans recently elected a fast talking Chicago Politician to the nation's highest office because he promised more welfare and higher taxes. And they say Americans are dumb! 03-25-2009 Yes, teleprompter boy was all over network TV trying to sell his monstrous spending plan. This time he went with the really big teleprompter, the economy must be recovering because the taxpayers can apparently afford to buy Barack an LCD. In case you haven't read it yet, Barack's people pre-selected who would be allowed to ask questions and who would not, does this sound like transparency to you? It's amazing to me that this guy can look the public in the eye and say they're being fiscally responsible while planning record spending and record deficits. I know, I'm just being a 'bitter obstructionist," and proudly so. I guess that's better than some of the other names the left throws around such as racist, fascist, Nazi, etc. I find it odd that these so called progressives, those who proudly proclaim their support of diversity and inclusion, get so nasty when you challenge them. Oh wait, I get it, diversity is great as long as you don't disagree with them! Wow, how open minded. Please accept my apologies; Barack is obviously super smart, a wonderful humanitarian, a masterful economist, and the greatest president ever! What were we thinking; we evil conservatives should just sit here quietly while the great Barack works his magic. Come on people, we shouldn't let those pesky facts to get in the way! Did you note a bit of sarcasm? Trusting Barack with the economy is like trusting Oprah to watch your sandwich. 03-24-2009 Wow, big rally on Wall Street, DOW up almost 500 points; big deal. This big 'rally' takes the DOW up to about 7800, reality check- it was once at 14000. The BO Administration will try to sell this market bump as a sign the economy is improving, reminder - Barack told us he's not concerned about the 'daily gyrations' of the markets. So what's the really scary part of this rally; oil prices. Oil prices have risen 38% this month alone closing above $54 a barrel yesterday. The Administration's plan to dump $1.2 Trillion into the economy weakens the dollar and makes commodities like gold and oil more attractive to investors and therefore drives up the price. Barack's energy secretary has stated that high oil prices are good for the country because it promotes more 'alternative' energy. Not so long ago we were paying $4 a gallon, was that good for the country, was that good for you, are we heading back down that road? Tonight The Great One will be back on primetime TV to sell his proposed budget to an uninformed populous. Folks, this is the big one, this thing makes the Stimulus Package and all the bailouts look like pocket change. Economist's including Barack's own budget people have warned that this monster will create 'unsustainable' deficits. This 'budget' which includes socializing medicine, socializing education, welfare expansion, and the disastrous cap & trade proposal will add $1 Trillion in red ink every year for the next 10 years. We must act now, if we are to survive as a nation, we must stop this budget from passing. Write your Senators, write your Congressman, jam their phone lines, send those Tea Bags to the White House, tell your family, tell all your friends, tell anyone who will listen, and make some noise, make a lot of noise. If we sit on the sidelines we have only ourselves to blame. 03-23-2009 Happy Monday? Need a little good news to get your week going? I think we all do, with all the doom and gloom in the news these days, we sometimes need a little boost to keep us going. So what better way to start than with Barack getting challenged to a bowling match by a young man from the Special Olympics! Yes, after Barack's offensive comment's on Jay Leno the other night, this young man has issued a challenge to Barack to bowl against HIM. This regular participant in the Special Olympics, who holds a full time job, averages a 220 game and is set to put old Barack in his place. How sweet it is! The movement grows, another large Tea Party! Over 4000 patriots gathered in Orlando FL to show their disdain for Barack and his supporters in Congress. For those who may have not seen the article posted on the Home Page, the group "chanted USA, brandished flags and homemade signs bearing slogans such as "Repeal the pork or our bacon is cooked" and "Obama lied, liberty died." It is a rare occasion that conservatives take to the streets in protest, but the arrogance and incompetence of this administration has forced just that. Have a great day! 03-22-2009 Good morning all, I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I turned on the 'news' yesterday and thought I must be watching an archived video clip; anti-war protesters? Never the less, there they were on TV protesting the Iraq war. Yes, unshaven, unwashed, unemployed, hemp wearing, brain-washed, single digit IQ left wing loonies were back in the streets banging drums and chanting nonsense. Can you imagine the smell? Oh wait, maybe that's supposed to be fragrantly inhibited? Soap deprived? Hygiene impaired? Was that mean? I sure hope I didn't offend those over sensitive little lefties. I better be careful, they might try to sue me for hurting their precious little feelings.The real kicker here is that they were protesting the war, but supporting Obama. Obama has apparently decided to stick with the agreements that Bush signed with the Iraqi government. The anti-war morons who helped elect BO aren't happy, so they take to the streets to make some noise, but against whom? Apparently these folks haven't figured out that the Liberals are in control of the White House and Congress. They can't possibly protest the liberals, can they? Apparently Barack isn't liberal enough for them? What exactly do they want; how much further left can you get? This really puts the Obama loving media in a pinch, they love protesters, but they love Obama too! What's a poor little socialist reporter to do? Who will out liberal who? They will, I'm predicting, turn on each other. Their failed policies will eventually drive the economy further down and open the door for a conservative take over in 2010. Be ready to seize the moment, it's going to be a bumpy road till them. 03-21-2009 Good morning to all of you and thank you for your continued support. 596 Days to the 2010 Mid-term elections, and Barack's approval rating is down to 55% already, his lowest point to date. Only eighteen percent (18%) of voters think Congress is doing a good or excellent job, if we keep the pressure on we have an excellent chance of throwing a LOT of these bums out in the street. I sincerely hope more of you will join the Tea Bag protest and make your opinion of this president known. On a bit of a different note, with all this garbage going down in Washington, everyone needs to be better prepared than ever before. Family first folks; cut your expenses and slash your discretionary spending. I hope I'm wrong about where the economy is heading, but we all need to prepare for the worst. Prepare today like you will lose your job tomorrow, you'll put yourself in a much better position regardless of what happens. All the wrangling in Washington this week over the AIG mess would be really humorous if it were an SNL skit instead of our government! The accusations and finger pointing is just the beginning, they're all acting like little kids on the playground with apparently the same level of maturity. This president (it hurts me to even call him that); who promised to 'fix' all these problems, spent his time joking it up with Jay Leno, and offending the folks at the Special Olympics? Yes, he jumped on Air Force one to California to chum it up with the Hollywood crowd and try to boost his sagging approval ratings, I wonder what his 'Carbon Footprint' was for this trip? Can't he find something better to do? Oh, how about dealing with that little twerp he put in charge of the treasury? I think we all agree that AIG shouldn't be handing out bonuses, but Senator Dodd's ammendment allowed it, and he says the treasury pressured him to do it (see twerp above.) Here's little fact you may or may not have heard; Christopher Dodd and Barack Obama both received over $100,000 in campaign contributions from AIG in 2008, the most of any candidates in the 2008 election season. When Obama was asked if he was going to give HIS 'bonus' back to AIG he dodged the question! Now the Dems in Congress are racing to save face by passing a bill to tax the bonuses away, although it's an interesting concept, it is unconstitutional. Oh wait, I forgot, Dems don't really believe in the Constitution, that old, out of date piece of paper it just a hinderance to their socialist agenda. I thought this was going to be a transparent government, according to Barack it would be the most ethical Administration ever; pretty laughable statement considering the sheer number of scandals already. Is this the Change YOU voted for? PS Did you happen to see that Barack sent an appeasement video to Iran?? How long will Geithner last? We want to hear from you! 3-19-2009 Its official, Washington has completely lost their minds. Congress is screaming about the $165 Million in bonuses handed out by AIG, but they allowed it when they created the loophole in the Stimulus Package with the Dodd Amendment (as in Christopher Dodd.) They allowed this to happen, they knew it was going to happen, now that the public is angry they have to pretend to be outraged! Notice to all, Fanny Mae is about to distribute their own employee bonuses, what will Barney Frank will say about that? Yes, they are screaming about this huge waste of taxpayer money, but in the same breath they announce a plan by the Fed to spend an additional $1 Trillion! Where oh where will the cash come from? The media is all hot and bothered that the market went up 91 points after this announcement, but did they happen to notice that gold went up $26 an ounce? The more money we print, the less the dollar is worth, the more EVERYTHING costs! This madness has to stop! Watch the site for updates, and keep sending those Tea Bags to the White House. 3-18-2009 Funny how the media works, once (long ago) admired for their uncompromising search for the truth, now they routinely omit important facts from a story to twist it to suit their view of the world. Don't think for a minute that this is accidental; this is a concerted effort to sway public opinion to the left. Let's look at a couple of recent examples of blatant media bias. The Obama Administration recently held a meeting with some small business leaders and touted a new program ($15 Billion I believe) that would improve the terms and rates on loans from the SBA (Small Business Administration.) This expensive new Obama program is being heralded by some in the media as a great step in getting the economy moving by boosting small business. Sounds great right, but there's a lot they aren't telling you, of course. This meeting was held, not to hear the concerns of small business leaders, but as a political ploy to draw attention away from a growingly unpopular proposal to raise taxes. The proposed tax hike on those grossing $250,000 or more will run many small business owners right OUT of business and they know this. So instead of addressing that core issue, Barack played a bit of bait and switch, and offered them low interest loans through the SBA. They also didn't bother to tell you that less than 5% of loans taken out by small businesses are from the SBA due to the red tape and obligatory strings attached. This program does not promote free enterprise; it does however promote further government dependence. So let's see, the government will still take more of your money, but now they'll loan some of it back to you, BRILLIANT! There has been a new proposal from the BO Administration to tax any healthcare benefits you may receive from your employer as income. They say it's just part of their overall plan to reform healthcare and make the system fair, you know, share the wealth. So what's so unusual about this, it's just another Barack 'Robin Hood' Obama redistribution of wealth program. The kicker behind this story is that John McCain proposed the very same thing during the campaign and was hammered mercilessly by Barack and the media alike. Barack told audiences that taxing employer provided healthcare would amount to the largest tax increase on the middle class in US history. How is it then, if Barack does it, then somehow it's not the largest tax increase on the middle class in history. I thought Obama claimed that 95% of taxpayers were getting a tax REDUCTION? So where is the media's outrage over this huge middle class tax increase? Why isn't CNN out there 'asking the tough questions?' Why isn't John Stewart calling Obama an illiterate buffoon? Where is David Letterman's Top 10 Reasons Barack is an Idiot? Where are those brave Geraldo type reporters slamming him for a major policy flip-flop? Apparently, they're all holding out for government jobs. 3-17-2009 Here come the Military budget cuts! Rumor has it that the Air Force's new tactical fighter the F-22 is on the chopping block. This program, along with new Navy Destroyers, Air Craft Carriers, an Army Ground Attack Vehicle, updates to our Nuclear Arsenal, and of course the Missile Defense system, will all die in the name of budget cuts. Remember, I warned you about this in more than one previous Rant. This Administration considers maintaining a strong military as a waste of tax dollars. Tax dollars they feel would be better spent building a Mob Museum, 3 water parks, a high speed rail to Las Vegas and saving an endangered field mouse in San Francisco. The US Constitution clearly states that defense of the nation is a primary role of the federal government. No where does it mention Welfare, Socialized Medicine, Mortgage Bailouts, or Re-distribution of wealth! The fact is, killing the F-22 will leave our Air Force in pretty bad condition. The F-117 Stealth Fighter has been retired; it was being replaced by the F-22. The F-15 Fighter is 30 years old and many have been grounded for structural weaknesses due to age. Our big bomber, the B-52 is now 50 years old. The once controversial B-1 bomber is now 30 years old as well. The B-2 Bomber was built in very limited numbers due to its cost and can not carry the load by itself. The majority of our nuclear arsenal dates back to the Reagan Administration and needs an updating that it will not get. The Missile Defense Shield offered us protection, as well as a deterrent, to N. Korean and Iranian missiles. At a time when the Russians as well as these rogue nations are testing Obama, he's cutting our military capabilities. Does this make sense to you? Should we put our nation at risk of attack so we can give more money to the welfare crowd? Let's feed and clothe the homeless and forget our soldiers who risk their lives to protect our freedoms. Let's help illegal aliens get government jobs, and lay off thousands of Americans who work in the defense industry. Let's spend Billions of dollars to fight 'Global Warming' and ignore the continuing threat of Islamic Terrorists sworn to kill us. Who is to blame for all of this, the voters that's who; Barack is only doing exactly what he promised he would. Those pretty speeches he gave were laced with these same ideas of social engineering, 'racial justice', and redistribution of wealth. Shame on Barack, and shame on those who failed to look past the media image to see the Left Wing Radical he truly is. 3-15-2009 Wow, you just can't make this stuff up. First Iran rebukes Barry's offer to play nice, N Korea threatens war, and then the Russians out him on the 'secret letter' he sent them. Now, it gets really serious folks, seriously scary. The Russians are apparently planning to use air bases in Venezuela and Cuba for Long Range bombers (you have to wonder why they didn't try this just a few moths ago.) What was Barack's response, NOTHING! Correct me if I'm wrong, but have you heard any response form the White House on this very serious threat to our security? Just further proof that this guy definitely is NOT JFK. We all heard about Joe Biden saying a bad word, but nothing about a major security threat. Obama say's the country is in a crisis one minute, then says it's better than we think the next. What is going on? Time for some good news, I'm starting to hear some people who voted for Barry having second thoughts. We all know a lot of people bought the campaign hype without realizing what this guy was really about. They liked the sound of that 'Hope & Change,' but never looked past the pretty speeches to understand what he was really saying. The radical left will never abandon him, but many in the middle will; we just have to help them along. Our goal here at The Community Organizer is to help Conservatives focus their attention on holding this Administration accountable to the people and express our distain for it's policies (and have a bit of fun while we're at it.) Face it, you won't see most of us ever taking to the streets in protest, its just not our nature. This doesn't mean we have to sit quietly, and we won't. This makes the 2nd month in a row with a Friday the 13th, very odd indeed, I keep waiting for Jason (bad guy in the Friday the 13th movie) to make an appearance on Wall Street. Almost as strange is the good news coming out of the banking industry yesterday. Citibank says it's back in the black as does Bank of America. Could the banking industry be making a recovery? At this point I really doubt it, but I have been wrong before (but rarely!) As long as consumers are leaving their wallets at home, the economy will continue to drag. You are the reason for our growth, please keep passing us on, we appreciate your support. 3-12-2009 Our Liberal Media isn't very good at reporting the mistakes of the Commander & Thief, so here are a couple of little items you may not have caught. Barack has proposed some education reforms including basing teachers pay on student achievement. Not a new concept, but one that got immediate rebukes form the teachers unions. As you may well know the Teacher's Union was a huge cash cow for Obama during the election, not it appears he has earned their wrath. The Massive $410 Billion Omnibus Spending Bill, meant to keep the government running till September is loaded with $7.7 Billion worth of Earmarks. Obama campaigned on eliminating pork and pet projects from federal spending and has promised earmark reform. So if he meant what he said, how can he possibly support this bill? Obama says this is old business left over from the last Administration and said he just wants to sign it and move on to next years budget. The truth of the matter is, Bush was at odds with the Congress over spending on social programs and they never sent this bill to him. This bill was crafted by the Dems in Congress, yet they don't want to take credit for it, even as they vote for it. Congress passed this piece of trash and Obama signed it, and as he did he broke yet another promise of reform. Transparency in government, a big catch phrase from the Obama camp during the campaign, hasn't gone so well. Old Barack promised to post every bill on the web for five days so the public could read and comment on it before he signed it. Would you venture to guess how many bills have been posted for five days? Wow you are good; the correct answer is none. None, zip, nada; only 7 weeks into this mess and the news gets worse by the day. 3-11-2009 I apologize for the temporary delay in Rants, we are going through some upgrades that are rather time consuming, but ultimately necessary to accommodate the growth. That being said, the world keeps spinning and the left keeps spending like there's no tomorrow. I am at a bit of a loss as to even decipher the ramblings of IL Senator Dick Durbin, who somehow had the gall to stand up there and tell the American people that earmarks are good and that Congress knows how to use our money better than we do. REALLY? Millions to preserve the ruins of Tiger Stadium? Folks, the pressure is starting to get to some of them, if you hadn't noticed there's a few Dems who have now come out against the earmarks in this $410 Billion Omnibus Spending Bill. Why you may ask would any Democrat in Congress not back this bill that the great Obama himself has endorsed, because they are up for re-election in 2010, that's why! Today the DaliBama is telling us we need to spend our money instead of saving it, but isn't that how we got in this mess in the first place? Over spending is never the answer, not by us and certainly not by the governent. If you have stuffed the matteress full of cash, fine. If you have kept your money in the market, then leave it alone, it's really too late to pull it out now anyway. Those folks who stayed in the market during the Great Depression saw huge gains over time. I would suggest that everyone cut out any and all unecessary spending and build up a fat stash of cash. On that day those brave colonists' dumped tea into Boston Harbor to protest excessive Taxes by an arrogant, over spending, tax happy, unresponsive Government. Sound familiar? I'm hearing from reliable sources that the White House is now receiving thousands of letters filled with, you guessed it; TEA BAGS! Not only do I love the concept, I'm going to participate, and I encourage all of you to do so as well. It's a cheap, easy and completely legal form of protest. I'm including in mine, along with the obligatory tea bags, Bush-Cheney stickers and some Business cards promoting the site. Come on, have some fun with these schmucks! 3-06-2009 Happy Friday! What a day, where to start. You know, when I started this little venture I never intended it to be all political, however the current conditions have certainly pushed it in that direction. It's hard to know from day to day what's going to happen next, making it more difficult than ever to prepare for what might lay ahead. Do I keep my money in the markets or move it to mason jars? Do I buy Stocks and Mutual Funds or canned goods and ammunition? The Magic 8 Ball just isn't giving me any guidance here. What does Oprah think? Maybe we should do both, a little of each? If you figure it out, let me know. 3-05-2009 Timothy Geithner, the Tax Cheat appointed by Barack to head up the Treasury Department, apparently fails to grasp basic economics. This dillweed has called Barack's $3.55 Trillion budget the most fiscally responsible budget he's ever seen. No wonder this buffoon couldn't figure out a 1040, he's apparently brain damaged! This budget is a bloated piece of pork filled with social entitlements at a level never before seen in the US history. This budget includes a $1.7 Trillion deficit, more than 4 times the size of any Bush budget deficit, and assumes $600 Billion in revenue from Cap & Trade and a 3% growth in the economy in 2010 and 5% in 2011. That's some pretty big assumptions. This budget will push payments on the debt to nearly 3% of the GDP; do you really think the economy will grow fast enough to keep up? Ask yourself this; if you are broke, and you go on the largest spending spree in history, are you being fiscally responsible? No, you would be an idiot heading for bankruptcy. As if this weren't enough, now little Timothy has proposed jacking taxes on US oil companies who drill in the Gulf of Mexico by 13%. I say this will increase our dependance on foreign oil, he says this will punish the companies for global warming and promote 'green' energy. If 'green energy' were actually a viable solution, free market demand would have expanded its use already and without government intervention. Little Timmy is also rather fond of the Cap & Trade portion of the bill which also punishes these evil energy producers. If we jam these companies with higher excise taxes and pollution taxes, do you think gas prices and energy costs will go up or down? If you run up more debt, raise taxes, force energy prices higher, and increase our dependence on foreign oil; will this grow the economy? Will this 'save or create 3.1 million jobs'? No, this will destroy the free market system, devaluate the dollar, eliminate the middle class, and force millions more into government dependence - Trickle up poverty. No thanks, you can keep this Change. 3-04-2009 It's a rare occasion that I hear anything on the news that actually shocks me anymore, but yesterday was an exception. Fact is I was so stunned by what I heard that I nearly ran off the road! The radio announcer was talking about the Dows' continued fall, and then played an audio clip by the "The Great One." Now as you know, Barack has called Wall Street Traders and Investors GREEDY, and has even gone as far as to blame the nation's economic troubles on them. Yes, he's told cheering crowds that Wall Street is out of step with Main Street and that their day was OVER! Yet, here was Barack on the radio telling people that "buying stocks is a potentially good buy." I had to question my own hearing! Finally, this arrogant Socialist has been forced to finally realize that his agenda has not only angered Traders, but scared even more investors out of the market entirely. CNBC analyist called Barack's budget "the greatest destruction of wealth I've ever seen by a President." His agenda of wealth redistribution and sky rocketing taxes doesn't sit well with folks when their 401K looks like a 101K. Fact is 50% of Americans have money in the stock market and the market has lost 23% of its value this year. With no turn around in sight and the Government spending money like Imelda Marcos in a shoe store, people are starting to feel a bit of buyers' remorse with this guy. Stupid is as stupid does. The guy who claimed to have all the answers is starting to look desperate; he's now gone so far as to wear a FLAG PIN! As you watch him now, it's strikingly apparent just how far he's in over his head. His big talk hasn't led to big results; it's led to a big mess. Every time he opens his mouth, the market falls. Every press conference reveals another bailout or bloated spending plan. Everyday the economy sinks deeper and everyday the outlook grows worse. How long will we tolerate the insanity before we fight back, and if we wait too long, will there be anything left to fight for? 3-03-2009 Have you ever seen the movie Groundhog Day, where Bill Murray keeps living the same day over and over? Just when I think I'm getting caught up on all the idiocy going on with this inept administration, the news explodes with more. As if a 300 point drop in the DOW and the new Urban Czar Adolfo Carrion in trouble for taking kickbacks wasn't enough for one day, now we have ANOTHER tax cheat. Yes, this time it's Barack's appointee for Trade Representative Ron Kirk who owes $10,000 in back taxes (am I having a flashback?) This bozo (my apologies to Bozo) continually finds one dishonest loser after another to appoint to his cabinet. This is a joke, he really could have just saved himself a lot of trouble and just appointed his most trusted advisors, those Gin swilling hags from The View (my apologies to Gin drinkers everywhere.) This should all be good material for the Late Night Talk Show hosts, but they also refuse to pound on this dope because, well, you know (my apologies to dopes everywhere.) What can I say that I haven't already told you, he has proposed a $1 Trillion tax increase for us, but his own hand picked little helpers can't seem to pay their own taxes. He's claims he'll create millions of new jobs, while forcing GM and Chrysler to lay off thousands of workers. He is trying to change the very foundation of our Republic, but can't even get his own cabinet together. He's going to 'fix' the economy, but can't open his mouth without tanking the market. He's going to save the planet and find that elusive cure for cancer, but search as he may, he can't seem to find a single honest Washington Democrat. As Dr Phil would say, "how's that working out for you?" 3-02-2009 I want to talk for a moment about Illegal Immigration, a hot topic for many of our readers, but one that seems to have fallen off the political radar lately. Remember that issue, it was the talk of the town just a few short months ago, but it's just a non-issue for the Democrats and the media certainly isn't interested in crossing them. For those like Barack who think these folks are good for our country and should be granted amnesty, I have a question; with "thousands of Americans losing their jobs," do we really need these people here? These folks receive social services at the taxpayers' expense yet pay no taxes (they should join Barack's Cabinet). California, the state with the highest concentration of illegal immigrants, just approved a $12 Billion tax hike just to keep the state running. The estimated cost to the state for social services to illegal aliens is, now prepare yourselves, $13 Billion. So let me see here, $13 - $12 = $1, well I'll be. So if California weren't carrying the cost of these 'undocumented people,' the state wouldn't need to raise taxes, they would have a $1 Billion surplus. That is just one piece of the pie, just the social services impact, what about some of the others such as crime, gangs, unemployment, graffiti, and that Taco Bell dog? I know there will be lots of you out there calling me names and such, and that's fine. If you would like to express your views on this just "PRESS ONE FOR ENGLISH." 3-01-2009 Happy Sunday! It's cold and windy with 8 inches of snow on the way. I'm heading out early this morning because I hate to be late for work, and the weather will certainly slow me down. Like most of you, I go to work regardless of the weather or if I'm tired or sick, whatever, I go to work. Is this because I need the money, or if I miss a day I can't pay the bills? No, like most of you, I would be fine, but I take care of business, it's about personal responsibility. I take care of me, not the Government. There's a joke that's been going around the internet about 2 million people at the inauguration and only 14 missed work, well there's some truth to that. I know when I get to work there will have been lots of folks who have called in sick. Folks who got up, saw the snow, and said forget it, I'm not going. Those same folks will later be complaining about not getting a raise or promotion, and how they are struggling in this horrible economy.
